Week 5.

WEEK 5 Three more have joined the deceased this past week. Taichi Yagami was punished for breaking a rule, Megumi Sakura was killed, and Norman Bates... well, the less said about Norman, the better. A third of you are dead now; your losses are becoming more and more evident with each passing week. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fifth floor. [He pulls over the notebook and his own, and carefully copy's a few of the words as close to the original as possible. If it's things they say and write that change, maybe he can cheat it]

He's pretty sure it's not going to work.]

[Actually, that was a good try, and you're actually not terribly off in terms of what makes the translation work.

At the same time, that's not quite it, and cheating it that way isn't going to work.]

[Oh well. He sighs in disappointment, but keeps doodling the 'letters' if just because it gives him something to do- rearranging them randomly in more of an art attempt then anything like writing]

Guess we just don't have enough clues yet.

With luck, there'll be more.

[he nods. He's still pretty pleased that they have it at all, considering the circumstances]

There's no small shortage of rooms to search through.

[Who knows. Maybe they went over something and missed it.]

...if there are things hidden around like this, then it won't hurt to give this whole place a once over again.

[Being used to the place has made them complacent. Time to get back to square one.]

Might give us something to do for a week or so.

[And hopefully not lead to anymore murder...]

[Bruce's hopes are not high at this point - especially considering there's still tomorrow.]

We've got a lot more places to look around now. That's at least one thing that we've got.

[Speedwagon's gaze flickers, slipping down to that locket...]

At least now, we seem to be getting somewhere.

It's a start.
