[ Sorry, guys. But while you're here, you might as well have some fun, right? Misa will spend most of the day Thursday baking and getting ready for the big festivities, but come 7 PM, she'll be there pretty much all night, making sure there are more than enough snacks and drinks that no one will have to go to the kitchen or anything after the night time horn goes off; anyone is more than welcome to join and play Truth-or-Dare at their leisure! The log's open and totally back-tag friendly so enjoy yourselves and have fun! ♥

Also, it looks like, though there are plenty of desserts out, there are a couple of them that look absolutely miserable; some are burned to a crisp, others look like they've been made with weird ingredients, and some just plain don't seem right...

Those will be the penalty snacks. Enjoy c: ]

[That little joke about an escape plan was rude, but it did get Speedwagon's attention quick enough. And then he's here.

There's a slight difference to his appearance today. While he still wore the clothes he woke up in, there was the addition of a red scarf wrapped over his shoulders. Just the thing to add to the 'Victorian chimney-sweep' look he'd developed.

Still, he's here, seated and staring at one of the more oddly-shaped desserts. If he's here, then Speedwagon was obviously here to play, right?]

[He'd be right about that! It sounded like fun, and the game itself was old enough that even Speedwagon had heard of it.]

I suppose I should start with an easy one... 'Truth' then.

What is... your most embarrassing memory?

Speedwagon paused, looking thoughtful, even at this question.]

...Way back, when I was just a kid, I tried to steal from an old bakery in the middle of London. I was chased right through the place until I tried to climb out a window. [He lowered his hat.] Put me right in the pile of garbage they'd been building up outside.

About the worst! [He can still remember it... uuughh.]

And still, I got off free with a few rolls. Although I was getting worried they'd track me by scent.

Ah, Mr. Speedwagon! That scarf looks really cute on you! Don't worry about the more gross-looking desserts, those are just for people who break the rules!

Oh, this thing? One of the more useful things, courtesy of the vending machine. [He tugs a bit on a frayed end.] Thank you kindly, can't say that I've heard anybody use the word 'cute' when talking about me in a couple decades.

[....He sets that treat back then.]

....Sounds like extra motivation then.

I've already done a round of 'truth'. Why not a dare then?

Misa-Misa dares you to put toilet paper on the bottom of your shoe, and keep it there the whole rest of the night!

And, what happens if you refuse?

[ Shirazu is approaching Speedwagon from behind as discreetly as possible. Why? Because of a dare he got.

And as soon as he's close enough, he reaches for for the scarf... ]

Speedwagon doesn't notice Shirazu, not at first. He's caught up in a cup of tea.

Though, as Shirazu is reaching out for that scarf... He might notice something... in the corner of his eyes.]

Wh...?

Shirazu immediately freezes up, trying to be still like a statue. ]

[Speedwagon...................... did not see him.

You are very lucky, shirazu]

[ Okay, let's... try to be stealthy like a ninja and slowly try to take it without him noticing... ]

[Hell yeah, red scarf buddies!!!

Sigrun will waste no time in stealing the oddly-shaped dessert, barely swallowing before speaking.]

Nice scarf, fluffhead. I dare you to wear it like a bow for the rest of the game.

Seems like we both had a trip to the vending machine recently! [Let's be real, Sigrun pulls it off better then he does.]

What... you mean a specific bow, or something?

[Sigrun absolutely does, but Speedwagon's got a dapper feel to him. Chimney-sweep dapper.]

And it was a great one! Just a regular bow though, I didn't realize there's more than one kind.

Well evidently, there is. For various reasons.

Look at the scarf, it shouldn't be too hard to make a regular one. Although it might be the worst bow you've ever seen.

[Okay, so apparently showing up and asking people "truth or dare" isn't right even though this is a game involving truth or dare. Who knew???]

That I did! One of the first tries and the whole thing came out in a bleeding wad.

[And it's... currently tied into a large, large bow. It aint no thing.]

Bit long for my tastes, but it's a interesting little gain from this place.
