[ Sorry, guys. But while you're here, you might as well have some fun, right? Misa will spend most of the day Thursday baking and getting ready for the big festivities, but come 7 PM, she'll be there pretty much all night, making sure there are more than enough snacks and drinks that no one will have to go to the kitchen or anything after the night time horn goes off; anyone is more than welcome to join and play Truth-or-Dare at their leisure! The log's open and totally back-tag friendly so enjoy yourselves and have fun! ♥

Also, it looks like, though there are plenty of desserts out, there are a couple of them that look absolutely miserable; some are burned to a crisp, others look like they've been made with weird ingredients, and some just plain don't seem right...

[ It's a relatively tame dare, but Black's still mildly nervous. It doesn't show too much outside of his hands in his pockets and the way he keeps shifting from side to side, but. HE IS. ]

They're certainly doing their job as punishment food, aren't they?

[Yosuke makes a 'ugh' face, but perks up right after]

Oh! And Misa made me eat a brownie off the table without my hands.

[He peeks his tongue out as if to illustrate his point]

But nothing worse then that. Yet.

Shirazu admitted to thinking Aqua's the cutest girl in the room, so I dared him to tell her so. [ ... ]

As far as dares people have given me though, um... I got dared by Miss Sigrun to go make friends with someone. [ that he thought was the best-looking in the room, but that's not really important to mention, right. ] It's not too bad--she mostly gave it to me because I was being a wallflower.

I gotta agree- Aqua IS pretty cute. She kinda gives off too much of a big sister vibe though... but hey, some people are into that.

But I'm guessing that's why you looked kinda jittery? Heh, don't worry about it dude, I don't bite.

...right. [ staring is impolite, he should talk. ] My sister usually made most of the friends between us, so I'm not really used to just. Going up to people and doing... that.

That sounds really pathetic, doesn't it.

No... it's not really. It's like a minefield of things you can screw up. People can be assholes sometimes. But hey, we're all in this together, right? So better we all get along.

I'm not exactly great at making friends either. I mean... real friends.

[He turns a little pink, looking away awkwardly. Was that a little oversharing? He's not sure]

[ A little oversharing, but that's probably good when you're making friends. And it gets Black to relax a little, shifting getting slower. ]

[ He shouldn't have to apologize for her but he feels like he's gotta. ]

She's used to being listened to, I guess.

[He shrugs, not outright answering- even months later Saki's Shadow's (or were was it his own mimicking what he always feared she thought? He didn't really want to know) words were too raw: too enthusiastic, takes it the wrong way.

Same here. My mom was pretty much the same way--so was my sister, actually. Scary and ruthless--er.

Driven. Very driven. [ He doubts Sigrun's going to punch him or something for his comments but. Juuuut in case. Just in case. ]

My friend Chie is like that too. If you say something she doesn't like she'll kick you right into the stratosphere.

At least I doubt Miss Sigrun'll hurt us--she'll probably take pride in whatever comments about her she gets, as long as they're not antagonizing. Or potshots about her leadership abilities.

Though I could do without her 'leading' people right into my room again.

If you hadn't screamed like you were being murdered, we probably wouldn't have all come by. [ SORRY, YOSUKE... THAT'S YOUR FAULT ] On the other hand, at least you know we'll all come rushing if anything bad really does happen...?

She dragged me outta bed by my ankle! I think I was pretty justified in yelling.

It took me almost twenty minutes to get all that marker off my face, too.

If I hadn't let her take it from me, she wouldn't have marked up your face at all... [ a small shoulder slump. ] I'm sorry.

Don't worry about it, at least it DID wash off. PLUS no one drew even a single dick. I'll consider that a win.

[ AN EMPTY PROMISE... BLACK COULDN'T STOP A DOG FROM STEALING HIS ICE CREAM, there is no way he can stop a group of people who want to draw dicks on poor sleeping/fainted people.

...the best way to prevent that is to just not pass out in front of everyone though. I mean, I know it's embarrassing, but you aren't terrible to look at. [ that's not too strong, is it. that's fine, right. ] I'd prefer you to someone like Mr. Pines, anyway.

[His eyes dart around a little, as if he deciding how to take that. But thanks to Yu 'Flirt with all my friends' Narukami, he's kinda used to casual remarks like that. It doesn't MEAN anything, right?]

To be fair, Pines-san is like... a million years old.

[ YEAH... DOESN'T MEAN A THING thanks for not making this the most embarrassing moment of his life, Yosuke, he'd have to change his story to Shirazu. ]

I guess that's not setting the bar very high, is it. [ the shifting's returned! whoops. ] He's only 60... something, though. Granpappie Macbeth's a little older than him, but he still looks good. Or, well, that's what Mom says. "He looks good for his age."

[ granted the whole macbeth family looks good for their age but not the point here ]

Yeah, and Pines-san looks like he's started smoking and drinking when he was twelve.

[He notices the shifting, but is a little at loss for how to calm the guy back down]

Still, I guess it doesn't matter too much. Not like I plan on walking around shirtless all the time.
