Welcome.
You wake with the unshakable feeling that you shouldn't be here. Perhaps you were in the middle of something, perhaps you weren't. Either way, you're waking up in an unfamiliar location with no recollection of how you got here. The room you've woken up in is sparsely-decorated, though that might be difficult to tell at first given how nice the beds are...but eventually you'll notice a few things that are a little...off. Maybe the scent is striking you wrong - it's clean, but it's not yours. Maybe your bed back home doesn't support your back in quite this way. Maybe you should be seeing sunlight through your window by now. Maybe you should have a window in the first place. This isn't right, but leaving the room won't give you any more answers. You might want to grab the silver key sitting on your trunk on the way out. Don't worry though, you aren't all alone here. Once you step outside your room into the hallway, you'll notice that a few others are emerging from their rooms as well. It looks like they're just as confused and concerned as you are. Feel free to talk to them, but none of you know how exactly you wound up here and maybe some useful information can be found by exploring. If you follow the hallway to its end (and it's a very long hallway), you'll eventually arrive in the foyer. You'll find some very interesting information about yourselves on the wall near the clock. Perhaps even more importantly, if you look on the other side of the multi-pendulumed thing, you'll find other framed information that you might want to pay attention to. It could very well be the key to escaping this strange place, after all. Don't worry if you forget the rules, you can find them in every room of the building. Of course, search as you might, you won't find a doorway or a window of any sort. Getting out won't be so easy, it seems. But who knows? Perhaps your fellow captives have something to say about all of this. Welcome to Chronos University. |

[He taps the crown with a long nail for emphasis. Like she should totally know who he is.]

[ She uh. She doesn't get it. Vanille crosses her arms, tilting her head to the side. ]
I've never seen a getup like that before.

[...WHERE THE FUCK IS HIS SWORD, that's kind of important and why he left his room in the first place, uh.]
You haven't seen it, have you? Long, pointy thing. Jagged, like lightning. Very unique, you couldn't miss it.
no subject
Hm... nope! But I'll keep an eye out for you. Maybe someone hid it!

[NOTHING EVER GOES RIGHT FOR HIM!!!!]
Well anyway, did you wake up here unarmed as well?
no subject
Yep! It was just me and the clothes on my back.
no subject
No weapons? Items? Staves? How did you intend to fight?
no subject
Fight what?

[ONE OF THOSE IS NOT LIKE THE OTHERS]

[ are you alright. why do you want to fight so bad. ]

[ She gestures to the pelt she's wearing. ]
Plenty of bears, though!

[It's not even really a question, because suddenly he goes from ??? to MANIC]
Now that's more like it! What sort of fighting style do you prefer?
no subject
[ OKAY ]
I snare 'em up, then give 'em a run for their money!
[ ... look, she's being vague for very good reasons. ]

[oh my god sit down before you hurt yourself]

[ says the girl whose world doesn't have cows ]
You should come to Gran Pulse, sometime! There are plenty of bears for you to fight! And behemoths--they're way bigger than bears!
no subject
Behemoths... What are they, exactly? Some kind of monster?
[It sounds vaguely familiar, like something he read in a book once, maybe.]
no subject
... Fang would not get along with him.
ANYWAY, Vanille spreads her arms wide. ]
Yeah! They're real big beasts, with wicked teeth. If you don't beat 'em fast enough, they'll get a lot stronger, too.
no subject
[They're also kinda dead. It's gross.]
no subject
[ She's gonna draw him a picture when she finds paper and a pencil. ]
Risen? What're those, anyway?
no subject
[He shrugs like this is not weird at all. It's fine!!]
We haven't always had an undead problem, they're fairly new, actually.
[AND HE CLEARLY DOESN'T GIVE A FUCK WHERE THEY CAME FROM since they're usually pretty good at attacking Ylisse instead of Plegia!!]
no subject
D'you think there's something in particular that happened to make them be a problem?
