You wake with the unshakable feeling that you shouldn't be here. Perhaps you were in the middle of something, perhaps you weren't. Either way, you're waking up in an unfamiliar location with no recollection of how you got here. The room you've woken up in is sparsely-decorated, though that might be difficult to tell at first given how nice the beds are...but eventually you'll notice a few things that are a little...off. Maybe the scent is striking you wrong - it's clean, but it's not yours. Maybe your bed back home doesn't support your back in quite this way. Maybe you should be seeing sunlight through your window by now. Maybe you should have a window in the first place. This isn't right, but leaving the room won't give you any more answers. You might want to grab the silver key sitting on your trunk on the way out. Don't worry though, you aren't all alone here. Once you step outside your room into the hallway, you'll notice that a few others are emerging from their rooms as well. It looks like they're just as confused and concerned as you are. Feel free to talk to them, but none of you know how exactly you wound up here and maybe some useful information can be found by exploring. If you follow the hallway to its end (and it's a very long hallway), you'll eventually arrive in the foyer. You'll find some very interesting information about yourselves on the wall near the clock. Perhaps even more importantly, if you look on the other side of the multi-pendulumed thing, you'll find other framed information that you might want to pay attention to. It could very well be the key to escaping this strange place, after all. Don't worry if you forget the rules, you can find them in every room of the building. Of course, search as you might, you won't find a doorway or a window of any sort. Getting out won't be so easy, it seems. But who knows? Perhaps your fellow captives have something to say about all of this. Welcome to Chronos University.

No thanks, I can't taste that stuff.

[ She's only really in the kitchen to look for like a good mallet or something. Like you needed to pulverize meat sometimes, right? That's logical. And Elda is thinking this when she snuck up (well okay, walked behind but she's very quiet) Silver. ]

[feistytrader]

[Silver jumps for a moment, but quickly settles down. It's okay. It's just some girl, it's fine. ...Some girl that can't taste?]

Did something happen to your tongue?

Oh no, I just grew up! It's sort of a rite of passage.

[ She's not tasted any human food since she was about 13, 14. It's been a long time. ]

[...There is a heathen land where people burn off tastebuds as a rite of passage, got it.]

I really don't remember it. Anyway, you couldn't help me with taste that much if you wanted, you don't smell that good.

[ With that vague comment she steps past him to start going into cupboards and drawers looking for something to smash a wall with... ]

[ And she looks up from the drawers, exposing her fangs ] I'm a vampire.

[Of course she is. Although man, she really does have Golbat teeth.]

Vampires aren't real.

Okay you know what. In a movement that is surprising for a woman the size she is, Elda is quickly upon Silver. Fangs bared, with red eyes looking into his own, she smirks ]

Are you sure about that, kiddo?

[feistytrader]

[Nope. He doesn't even bother to respond, he just instinctively shoves as harshly as he can manage and bolts straight out of the kitchen. LATER, GRANDMA]

[matchbreaker]

[ WOW RUDE. HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN SCARED STIFF.

As is, she's knocked off on her ass, not expecting that retaliation. Still, when she gets up from it, she's smirking. HEHEHE....

But then, later in the day, there is supply closet. There is a vampire. And there is a vampire who is ripping off duct tape without biting it! ... Or well, she was trying to. And is a little annoyed that she can't ]

[Silver strolls into the supply closet and immediately regrets his decision. Of course she had to be here. Maybe he can still get away with sneaking back out.]

...Sorry. You're a vampire.

[Let's just get that out of the way before she tries jumping him again.]

[ Oh wait, it's that kid from earlier, now she turns to face him. Oh. She hisses a little and then asks, a little bit vulnerably, ]

Hey kid, have you felt a little weird here?

Nope. I just got kidnapped, but I'm happy as a Clamperl.

[What kind of question is that?]

What's that even mean, speak normal!

[ Huff gosh, ] Not like that though, like do you feel drained or something?

[...Well, maybe he should be honest, if Elda's the one bringing it up. He idly grabs onto one of his arms.]

There's something wrong with my vision, but I haven't noticed anything else.

[ She frowns, and tugs once more on the duct table. ]

I should be able to rip this.

[ Who the hell can rip duct tape without biting it or cutting part of it first.. ]

[ A beat. ... Wait, she shouldn't have said that to a human. She drops the tape and stands abruptly. ]

[ She says with a smile! ]

I also can't sense any bats in the area, but that could just be someone ran a really good exterminator through here. [ She sighs ]

[...Bats? Like Zubats? ...Why is everyone really into their cosplay around here?]

I don't know. Everything's blurrier, but I'm not dizzy and my head doesn't hurt.
