WEEK 1.
Now that you've had a chance to yell at the Wordsmith, one thing is very clear. He wasn't lying. There's no escape from this place. You can explore all you like, but there aren't any ways to leave. It seems like there isn't much to do but settle in and get to know your fellow Apprentices. You're free to go wherever you'd like for the most part, but come 10PM the doors to the kitchen and the mail room will shut and lock and nothing you can do will get them to open. While you might be tempted to sleep in, you'll find that the clock in the foyer goes off every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM without fail. You'll be able to hear it no matter where you are; it seems it's being broadcast over the PA system. You're welcome to go back to sleep after you hear it, but surely you don't want to spend the whole day in bed? (Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.) |

[OOC: Welcome to week one of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

Orihime follows the scent all the way to the kitchen, and wow that is a really big pot of curry. ]
Um, hello! [ Don't mind her just. Sliding on in! ] Is that...curry you're making?
no subject
It is. It's not what I wanted to make, there's less spices and ingredients here than I'm used to.
no subject
[ Trust her it's delicious ]
no subject
[ I mean he's willing to entertain the notion, and he's certainly interested.]
no subject
[ People here are so receptive to her cooking, it's amazing?! ]
no subject
[ Here's where a normal person would say thank you, but what is being social.]
Maybe that would work with zombie juice as a base...
no subject
...Zombie juice?
no subject
It's bitter, but it pairs nicely with sweet things if you're careful about the amount.
[ Talking like this is a normal thing, like cheese.]
no subject
[ Tbh that sounds disgusting, but... ]
Do you think they have some around here?
no subject
[ There is nothing wrong with zombie juice in his opinion!]
I've looked and didn't see any, so I doubt it.
no subject
Aha, that's a shame... I guess since it's not something humans usually eat, they wouldn't have it here?
[ Assuming this is earth, anyway........ ]
no subject
[ ... ]
So humans don't eat dragon, zombie or sludge?
no subject
no subject
...an RPG? [ Disgaea is very meta, but not that meta.]
no subject
Ah, that's just a video game term, haha! [ ... ] Do you have video games where you're from?
no subject
[ He's kinda confused but going with it. A nod at her question.]
Some demons play them, but they've never interested me.
no subject
Why not? They're a pretty fun way to pass the time, even if I don't play them very much myself.
no subject
I've always been too busy.
no subject
Well, that's understandable! If you're really busy then video games are sort of inconvenient, hehe.
no subject
[ And he's actually familiar with the term EXP because of Geo Effects, but he focuses on the last part of what she says instead.]
I can't afford to rest.
no subject
Why not?
no subject
I need to kill someone first.
no subject
...What was that?
no subject
[ And then after some silence because yeah he should clarify.]
He's not here.
no subject
Phew! I thought you were talking about someone here! That wouldn't have been good at all!
