WEEK 1.
Now that you've had a chance to yell at the Wordsmith, one thing is very clear. He wasn't lying. There's no escape from this place. You can explore all you like, but there aren't any ways to leave. It seems like there isn't much to do but settle in and get to know your fellow Apprentices. You're free to go wherever you'd like for the most part, but come 10PM the doors to the kitchen and the mail room will shut and lock and nothing you can do will get them to open. While you might be tempted to sleep in, you'll find that the clock in the foyer goes off every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM without fail. You'll be able to hear it no matter where you are; it seems it's being broadcast over the PA system. You're welcome to go back to sleep after you hear it, but surely you don't want to spend the whole day in bed? (Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.) |

[OOC: Welcome to week one of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

Is something wrong? [because you notice things. staring rudely at people.]
no subject
...It's nothing. A relatively minor problem next to everything else.

...I haven't been able to cut my nails since before we wound up here. It's irritating, but hardly on the level of the constant absurd threat of death.
no subject
Hm... Have you tried filing them down with something? I'm not very sure what can be used for that... But, there has to be something!

[beat] Do they really grow so fast?

[Kira held up one hand to illustrate the point; elegant concert pianist fingers ended in well-kept nails that were just long enough to look out of place.]
I suppose that's the only peculiar thing about me, come to think of it.
no subject
... Have you ever tried growing them out? Do they stop? Could you use them to pick up things? [he won't stop this is really cool]
no subject
I don't care to let them grow enough to find out. Ordinarily I cut them every morning, but I haven't been able to do that.
[Which, to listen to him talk, sounds like the Worst Fate Ever(tm)]
no subject
If you grew them out, you could go like this! [he kinda. makes a cat's paw shape with his hand. you know. like nya.]
no subject
...Why would I do that.
no subject
It might be fun! [nya]
no subject
[why this.]

Those are very fun things! [...] Do you like anything else?

[sportacus is not the only person in this room whose hobby is implied by his name]
But I'm afraid I just don't have much in the way of general hobbies.
