WEEK 1.

WEEK 1

Now that you've had a chance to yell at the Wordsmith, one thing is very clear. He wasn't lying. There's no escape from this place. You can explore all you like, but there aren't any ways to leave. It seems like there isn't much to do but settle in and get to know your fellow Apprentices. You're free to go wherever you'd like for the most part, but come 10PM the doors to the kitchen and the mail room will shut and lock and nothing you can do will get them to open.

While you might be tempted to sleep in, you'll find that the clock in the foyer goes off every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM without fail. You'll be able to hear it no matter where you are; it seems it's being broadcast over the PA system. You're welcome to go back to sleep after you hear it, but surely you don't want to spend the whole day in bed?

(Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.)

[OOC: Welcome to week one of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]
uncouthhatcher: (why would you wanna cook eggs)

What's Mars?

[hello nerd]
plentyfriendly: (phi$ man -k axiom)

[personal profile] plentyfriendly 2017-01-24 11:49 pm (UTC)(link)
The fourth planet from the Sun? What, did you skip a few grades of school on your way here?

[Usually that would be a sign of extremely advanced knowledge, but...]
uncouthhatcher: (huh)

[personal profile] uncouthhatcher 2017-01-24 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Sorry, I ain't too into space and all that junk. That's Hoenn's deal, not Johto's.

[he does recognize the sun!!! who knows if mars exists in pokeworld. and if so, if it's still called mars.]

How many planets are there?
plentyfriendly: (phi$_)

[personal profile] plentyfriendly 2017-01-24 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
In Earth's solar system, there are eight.

[Team Galactic had to have gotten their admin codenaming scheme from somewhere right?]
uncouthhatcher: (dreamy ain't he)

[personal profile] uncouthhatcher 2017-01-25 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
[... that is a great point and i can't believe i didn't think of that. good thing he still doesn't care about educational programs (unless cute girls are on it)!!]

Sounds like seven too many. You got a moon too?
plentyfriendly: (phi$ wine x-reference.exe)

[personal profile] plentyfriendly 2017-01-25 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
We don't just have one, I've been there.

[That sure came out extremely casually.]
uncouthhatcher: (¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡GASP!!!!!!!!)

[personal profile] uncouthhatcher 2017-01-25 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
[!!!!!!!!!!!!]

No way! That's so cool, space girl! [your new nickname, phi] What's it like?
plentyfriendly: (phi$ vim decrease)

[personal profile] plentyfriendly 2017-01-25 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
I didn't get to enjoy it, really.

[she nearly died like five times]
plentyfriendly: (phi$_)

[personal profile] plentyfriendly 2017-01-25 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
Let's just say this isn't the first time I've been abducted across time and space.
uncouthhatcher: (not like you can do much kiddo)

[personal profile] uncouthhatcher 2017-01-25 06:49 pm (UTC)(link)
So is this kinda thing the usual for you, or has it just start happenin' recently? Because your life sounds like a real time.
plentyfriendly: (phi$ man -k axiom)

[personal profile] plentyfriendly 2017-01-25 09:13 pm (UTC)(link)
[It's a real time something, that's for sure.]

It was just the one time.
uncouthhatcher: (you bet your diddly-darnest)

[personal profile] uncouthhatcher 2017-01-26 03:18 pm (UTC)(link)
[a zero time dilemma]

So why'd you get takin' in the first place? Maybe it can give us a clue about our situation.
plentyfriendly: (phi$ man -k axiom)

[personal profile] plentyfriendly 2017-01-26 10:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Probably not - the reason then was specific to me and one other person. The odds that all thirty of us have the potential for it are basically nil.

[They're what, two out of eight billion people? Not likely at all.]
uncouthhatcher: (what d'you mean)

[personal profile] uncouthhatcher 2017-01-27 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
And what's that potential?

[he loves secrets tell him, maybe he's special!!!]
plentyfriendly: (phi$ show-hidden-processes)

[personal profile] plentyfriendly 2017-01-27 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
Do you really want to bet on one-in-a-billion odds?

[Actually no she's not going to say it, she's going to save it for when someone does something Stupid.]
uncouthhatcher: (not like you can do much kiddo)

[personal profile] uncouthhatcher 2017-01-27 05:25 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, we've got nothin' else goin' for us, why not.
plentyfriendly: (phi$ wine x-reference.exe)

[personal profile] plentyfriendly 2017-01-27 05:25 pm (UTC)(link)
[Time to play that card.]

A girl's got to have some secrets, right?
uncouthhatcher: pink, not light red, very important to note (ah yes pink haired chicks are my fave)

[personal profile] uncouthhatcher 2017-01-29 05:57 am (UTC)(link)
[... Well, shit.]

Can't argue with that! A woman's hottest when she's got secrets, after all~.
plentyfriendly: (phi$ grep -a solve pzldb)

[personal profile] plentyfriendly 2017-01-29 05:49 pm (UTC)(link)
I might tell you some other time, though...

[She might be saving it as a trump card but if it comes out of nowhere who's going to believe her?]
