WEEK 1.

WEEK 1

Now that you've had a chance to yell at the Wordsmith, one thing is very clear. He wasn't lying. There's no escape from this place. You can explore all you like, but there aren't any ways to leave. It seems like there isn't much to do but settle in and get to know your fellow Apprentices. You're free to go wherever you'd like for the most part, but come 10PM the doors to the kitchen and the mail room will shut and lock and nothing you can do will get them to open.

While you might be tempted to sleep in, you'll find that the clock in the foyer goes off every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM without fail. You'll be able to hear it no matter where you are; it seems it's being broadcast over the PA system. You're welcome to go back to sleep after you hear it, but surely you don't want to spend the whole day in bed?

(Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.)

[OOC: Welcome to week one of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

Well, I know for one I was missing my pen that I always keep on me. My handcuffs and other things too, but I have a hard time believing he'd allow that back into our hands.

Why would he put them in a vending machine, of all things? It seems strange to even give us our things back, never mind that we don't even have anything to put into it.

That's...a really good question...

[ What kind of captor is this person? Usually they deprive their hostages of their necessities, but if he's offering to give them back... ]

I'm not sure why things are like this, but those handcuffs would definitely come in handy once we find him.
officerhops: (Baby you've done enough)

Yeah, assuming they're actually in there...as for the pen, it's not incredibly important, but I've had it for a long time. It's shaped like a carrot.

[Really.]

Oh, well, that's still important, isn't it? If you've kept it for that long, we should try to get it back!
officerhops: (I'll keep on making)

[personal profile] officerhops 2017-01-25 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd really appreciate it, thank you.

In exchange, is there anything you might be missing that we could look out for?

Oh, right--I'm looking for a set of hairpins. They both have blue flowers on them, and they're really small, but they're also really important!
officerhops: (Sometimes we come last)

Blue hairpins...got it. Those are unique enough that they'll probably stand out right away to anyone who finds them.
