i'll wait, so show me why you're strong
[ Generally, people need time to cope and gather themselves after a... thing... like that. Unfortunately, that's not how Vanille sees it. Her thing is avoid, and once she gets out of that hellhole that's the courtroom, she makes her way to the supplies closet, then to the library. She spends some time setting up things, pushing things aside to make room. Once she's finished, and she's met up with the Party Brigade, she makes enough invitations for everyone. She slips them under everyone's doors, or hands them out if she sees someone walking around.

Inside the library, there are candles set up to provide some soft, comforting lighting. There are pots of tea, courtesy of Mercy, pancakes made by Viktor, and books (picked out by Estelle, of course) laid out on the surrounding tables. The others have provided their own touches, and Vanille's even managed to make something: sugar cookies, which are actually very good. They're flavored lightly with all sorts of flavors--not all in the same cookie, okay--and each plate is marked with whatever flavor she's put in them.
After a successful trial, it's healthy to indulge, right? Let's mingle. ]

[Considering how worked up everyone else seems to be, that's kind of a relief. He'll flop into a seat nearby and cross one leg over the other.]
What do you make of [vague handwave] all of that?
no subject
[ Someone needs to be the calm noodle in the bowl of hot soup! Either way, he takes it as a compliment. ]
...Well, I think that display will probably curb any ideas of getting on the Wordsmith's bad side for awhile. But, jokes aside, it is a little hard to say. It looks like our captors have a lot of fire power on their side in the form of some sort of evil spirit. It's not something I'd want to face sometime soon, anyway.
no subject
"Evil spirit"... I suppose that's what it could be. I'm a little disappointed I wasn't a Dark Mage for longer or I might have some idea of what exactly that was.
no subject
Well, we could always figure it out together later.
[ He can't help how easy another smile comes across his face. It's habit by now. ]
What made you decide to stop being a Dark Mage, if you don't mind me asking?
no subject
[He shrugs at that, like this isn't weird at all.]
no subject
Grimleal? Is that the name or title of a military leader or group?
no subject
[Which still doesn't really sit right with him. It's necessary, but the Grimleal... they're a creepy cult, okay.]
I've never openly said anything terrible about them and as far as they know I support them... but they're a nasty bunch.
[they are 100% aware that he doesn't support them]
no subject
[ Sounds very spoopy to him. ]
Do you think they'd be capable of getting a creature like that under their control?
no subject
no subject
[ But going by what Gangrel's said, something tells him he wouldn't want to meet someone from the Grimleal. ]
... Anyway, would you like to share some tea with me, Gangrel?
no subject
Might as well. What kind did you make?
no subject
[ Mikazuki gets up and leaves the whole room entirely.
Okay then.
Soon, he comes back with another tea kettle with a smile... because he forgot to actually make some in the first place. ]
I made some green tea.
no subject
Well, whatever, it works. He's not about to complain.]
I guess I should thank you.
[...apparently that counts as saying thanks???]
no subject
Oh, it's no problem at all. After all, hot beverages like tea can help calm nerves and soothe the soul.
[ He'll be pouring their cups now. ]
no subject
[It's kind of nice, maybe. He's not really a big fan of tea, but it's something he didn't have to make, so!!! Free stuff is always good.]
no subject
Careful, it is a little hot. So you may want to wait on drinking it for a bit, but here it is.
no subject
[He'll take the cup, but he'll set it down while it cools.
...]
Do you plan on doing this for everyone? You'll be at it all night.
no subject
[ He gives a little shrug. ]
Even if I am, it's a small price to pay, especially after what had just happened.
no subject
[It's sarcastic of course, because he figures you don't need to be seriously warned about that.]
no subject
[ Mikazuki manages to make a laugh at that; he figures the man was being rather not too serious about his comment. But still, it gives him an entertaining thought. ]
It would be interesting if someone did try, at the very least.
