[ Generally, people need time to cope and gather themselves after a... thing... like that. Unfortunately, that's not how Vanille sees it. Her thing is avoid, and once she gets out of that hellhole that's the courtroom, she makes her way to the supplies closet, then to the library. She spends some time setting up things, pushing things aside to make room. Once she's finished, and she's met up with the Party Brigade, she makes enough invitations for everyone. She slips them under everyone's doors, or hands them out if she sees someone walking around.
Inside the library, there are candles set up to provide some soft, comforting lighting. There are pots of tea, courtesy of Mercy, pancakes made by Viktor, and books (picked out by Estelle, of course) laid out on the surrounding tables. The others have provided their own touches, and Vanille's even managed to make something: sugar cookies, which are actually very good. They're flavored lightly with all sorts of flavors--not all in the same cookie, okay--and each plate is marked with whatever flavor she's put in them.
After a successful trial, it's healthy to indulge, right? Let's mingle. ]

Watanuki glances around for a moment, then leans in to talk quietly to Orihime.]
Have you had a chance to look around yet? For them, I mean.
[Adelina and Kyrie. Even if they're dead, they might not be truly gone.]

[ She looks down and shakes her head. ] I couldn't see them at all. ...Could you?

I think Kyrie got eaten by whatever was in that pit. As for Adelina...hopefully she got out before that happened.

I don't think the others, outside of a couple people, realize how serious this is. The best thing to do now would be to make sure nobody else dies. I think that 'trial' must have something to do with it, or else that thing would have been eating people already.
There's a few people here I'm worried about, I don't think they'll listen to anything I have to say about it. But I've got to try. Even if they're jerks, they don't deserve to have that happen to them.

[ She doesn't really understand how that could be. She'd underestimated how seriously frightening their situation is right now--Kyrie's death changed her mind completely. ]
I'll--I'll support you in that, Watanuki-kun. Nobody deserves that at all.

[Watanuki is horribly biased in that way though. He tends to assume the worst, even though he's a hopeful person in general.]
But maybe hearing it from someone who's not me would help them understand.
