WEEK 2 Adelina and Kyrie Ushiromiya are dead. Regardless of how you felt about them and whether or not you mourned their passing, life goes on. It seems the Wordsmith intends to make good on the rules he's left for you all. Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Either way, it seems there's nothing to do but move on - or, perhaps, move down. Another door in that holding area near the elevator seems to have opened up, leading into a corridor and a stairwell that seems to lead you somewhere beneath the dormitories, and eventually onto a new floor altogether. Go ahead and explore all you like; after all, you did well at completing your lessons this past week. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 28

[ Orihime had just woken up from a small nap when Estelle knocks on her door. Good timing, to say the least. When she opens it, her hair's a little bit of a mess. ]

Oh...! Good morning, Estelle-san...

[ And then there's the mention of food, and that gets her to wake up. ]

Eh? You made food for everyone? That's amazing! Thank you, Estelle-san!

[firstaid]

Good morning! And yes, there's food. I figured it was my turn to cook.

[Her hands are behind her back and her body is twirling back and forth a bit.]

It's vichyssoise, which is a dish I'm pretty good at making back home, and I figured I'd share with everyone what I can cook!

[introspects]

Wow, that sounds really fancy and extravagant!

[ Her stomach's growling just thinking about it! ]

I've never heard of it before, so I'm really excited to try it! What's inside?

[firstaid]

It's mainly made of potatoes. There's spices and cream in it as well, however, potatoes are the primary ingredient.

[introspects]

Oooh! I love potatoes a whole lot; this sound amazing!

[ SHE IS SO STOKED TO TRY THIS ]

Give me a few minutes and I'll be in the dining room! I just need to wash up.

[firstaid]

Okay. I will meet you there, then!

[And she's happy others want to try her food! Then again, she taste tested it and it was good, so she's sure others will like it.

Anyway, to the dining room she goes!]

[introspects]

[ It's not long before Orihime shows up, hair neat and in the university's uniform. ]

Sorry to keep you waiting! I'm ready for a whole world of deliciousness!

[firstaid]

[When she arrives, Estelle gets a bowl of the soup for her. It looks plain, but there are some green spices seen in there.]

Here you are! It's supposed to be cold, so don't worry about that!

[introspects]

Ah- it smells delicious!

[ Her mouth's already watering, she is so hungry. ] Okay, here I go!

[ After her first bite, she's definitely contemplating the flavor... ] Estelle-san, this is really good! It looks so simple, but it's actually packed with a lot of flavor.

[firstaid]

Yes, doesn't it? Vichyssoise is truly a wonderful dish. It's honestly one I truly enjoy making even if cooking really isn't my forte.

[Estelle really looks pleased with herself here. Really, really pleased.]

[introspects]

Well, you did a wonderful job! If this were warm, it would be really good to eat when you're sick!

[ She's going to dig in now! This would be really good with some bread, she thinks. ]

[firstaid]

It would be a good soup for that. I suppose I just prefer it cold.

[Because it's different and the taste and texture are different cold, and it's great.]

[introspects]

I guess making it warm would change some of the flavors.

[ She lifts her head away from the bowl and starts to look towards the kitchen area. ]

I think this would taste really good with bread! What do you think?

[firstaid]

[Estelle ponders this a bit.]

It really would be good with bread, I think. Should we try it together?

[introspects]

Let's do it~!

[ Leaving her unfinished bowl on the table, Orihime rises again and gestures Estelle towards the kitchen. ]

Ooh, I'd love to try this with some teriyaki sauce, too, and maybe some sardines on the side!

[firstaid]

[When motioned, she follows. Though those food choices....]

Um, I'm not entirely sure if those would go well with vichyssoise.

[...just a suggestion.]

[introspects]

Well you don't know until you try it, right?

[ and get food poisoning, right ]

Let's go!

[ Just gonna. Excitedly walk into the kitchen and hunt for some bread! ]

[firstaid]

Um, I think I'll be fine without trying it.

[She gives her a nervous giggle.

However, yes, go on the hunt for bread. Given the kitchen, it doesn't seem too hard to find, but there are so many types.]

Would a dinner roll go best?

[introspects]

Okay, suit yourself!

[ She'll go ahead and look for her sardines, then! More for her!! ]

Yeah, a dinner roll with some butter sounds good! Maybe even garlic bread... Or flatbread, too.

[firstaid]

Those would all be wonderful with this.

[She'll help find some more of these breads. It'd be best to try them all she thinks.]

[introspects]

[ Orihime rummages through the cabinets for her fish... ]

Jackpot!

[ She seems to have found the sardines! Yes, she's totally going to pull those out and get a can opener for this. ]

Alright, I'm ready for my taste buds to explode, this time!

[firstaid]

U-um, you'll have to tell me how that is.

[Is this how people felt when she was eating dog food? Because yeah, she's giving Orihime a very incredulous look.]

[introspects]

I sure will! I bet it'll be delicious!

[ M...AYBE.... well, only one way to find out?

Those sardines are going in the vichyssoise with the flat bread. Though...you won't be missing out on much, Estelle. ]

[firstaid]

[Y-yeah, she's definitely giving Orihime quite the look right now... The flatbread she understands. Not so much the sardines.]

I... I'm sure it will be...

[She doesn't sound convinced.]

[introspects]

[ It's a good thing she isn't because when Orihime puts the sardines into the soup and takes a bite--

just. See icon. This is her face. This is her trying to swallow it down and almost failing. ]

...Um... M-Maybe that wasn't such a good idea.
