WEEK 2 Adelina and Kyrie Ushiromiya are dead. Regardless of how you felt about them and whether or not you mourned their passing, life goes on. It seems the Wordsmith intends to make good on the rules he's left for you all. Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Either way, it seems there's nothing to do but move on - or, perhaps, move down. Another door in that holding area near the elevator seems to have opened up, leading into a corridor and a stairwell that seems to lead you somewhere beneath the dormitories, and eventually onto a new floor altogether. Go ahead and explore all you like; after all, you did well at completing your lessons this past week. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 28

[So far the new floor hasn't had anything even halfway entertaining. Gangrel's looking irritated by the time he enters the workshop, and one quick look around confirms that he wants nothing to do with this place either. His nails are so long he might break one just by sticking around this place long enough.

But Silver's in here and Silver's talking to a... uh.]

...Is this a Pokémon?

[Well his expression goes from "UGH FUCK THIS" to "HOLY SHIT I WANT FIFTY" in like a second flat, so uh. This is... an improvement...???]

[Oh hey, it's Gangrel. Gangrel's a little insane, but he's welcome company anyway.]

That's right. This is Weavile.

[Weavile stares at Gangrel for a little too long, but eventually remembers his manner and waves at him. Hello!]

Weavile, huh...? Fascinating...!

[He'll crouch down to get a better look at Weavile, though he's not reaching out to touch or anything.]

You don't talk, do you?

[Weavile shakes his head; normally he'd be a little more friendly, but he's still adjusting to the situation, so he sticks to Silver like glue.]

[That's fine and Gangrel shrugs a bit before addressing Silver again.]

You were talking to uh... him? You two were talking, weren't you? How do you understand what he's saying?

[Weavile can understand people obviously, but how does Silver understand Weavile??]

I don't. Weavile's pretty expressive though, so I can usually get what he's thinking.

[Sadly, he is not Yellow or Master Lance. Being able to properly talk to Weavile would be cool.]

We've been together for a really long time, too. That helps.

Guess it does. Where did you find him anyway?

Guzma got him out of the vending machine.

[Fuck the Wordsmith, man.]

The machine? How did he fit in there?

[THAT SOUNDS UNCOMFORTABLE]

[...He probably has no idea what that means, so it's time to pull out Weavile's Pokéball and show it to him.]

[IT'S MORE BELIEVABLE THAT HE WAS JUST IN THE MACHINE]

[...You know, he could try to explain this to the best of his knowledge, or he could, you know. Return Weavile to his ball and let him back out again.

He's choosing the latter.]

[Okay look he's not about to try to figure out the scientific theory behind how two god birds' feathers can make a net to be put in a ball, alright, that is way above his paygrade.]

Do you have others that were with you? They'd probably be in that machine too, wouldn't they...?

Probably. If we keep getting coins, it's only a matter of time before they're all out.

[...Which he still isn't particularly happy about, but you know what, it's better than not knowing where they are at all.]

I know one of my Pokémon could definitely bust us out of here.

Oh good, it's definitely worth trying our luck, then. I'll let you know if I receive any of those balls out of the machine.

[but also he will probably try to open it because gangrel doesn't have any sense of self-preservation like 90% of the time]

...Gyarados is definitely mad. If he doesn't crush you, he'll probably eat you.

What is Gyarados? Not that being eaten by anything is high on my list of desires, but I'm curious about what I should be imagining here.

They're really big. They're fish, but a lot of people mistake them for dragons.

This would be a lot easier if I had my Pokédex.

[Weavile is attempting to make an angry Gyarados face. It's not working too well.]

What's a Pokédex?

...It's a piece of technology with information on just about every Pokémon. If I find it, I can show you Gyarados and all sorts of other cool stuff.
