WEEK 2.
Adelina and Kyrie Ushiromiya are dead. Regardless of how you felt about them and whether or not you mourned their passing, life goes on. It seems the Wordsmith intends to make good on the rules he's left for you all. Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Either way, it seems there's nothing to do but move on - or, perhaps, move down. Another door in that holding area near the elevator seems to have opened up, leading into a corridor and a stairwell that seems to lead you somewhere beneath the dormitories, and eventually onto a new floor altogether. Go ahead and explore all you like; after all, you did well at completing your lessons this past week. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]
Kitchen
... Admittedly she's not sure where to develop these photos but whatever, it's a pasttime to distract herself. Apparently not that interesting though because upon seeing those she throws the Camera on a nearby counter (that sounded like it hit a bit hard...) and says- ]
Oh, it's some of those Pokéy-mans, right?!
no subject
Yes, they are. These are my partners, Clefable and Lilligant. Dears, this is Ms. Marker. Say hello, if you would like.
[Lilligant will at least give Elda a wave, but Clefable toddles on over and stands in front of Elda with a smile. ...She's a little bit expectant, alright, all the other humans are super cool and friendly--]
It's Pokémon, however. They are not humans.
[...despite some Pokedex entries. She refuses to believe it.]
1/2
[ no it's not... ]
no subject
This one's the fable one, huh... it's cute.
[ She heard the explanation, but she's still not sure how they're that much different than weird animals. You can't just internalize something overnight. ]
no subject
Oh, yes. She's a rather darling thing, isn't she? Mysterious as well. It's rumored that her kind came from the moon, originally.
no subject
[ Well, "little" - if her clefable's the standard 4'3, at Elda's 5' it's not really that much shorter than her. ... Which is mildly terrifying.
Oh well.
She laughs that off, waving a hand dismissively, but seems to be prompting Lusamine to tell her more ]
no subject
So the rumor goes. The original rumor was that it's previous evolutions, Cleffa and Clefairy, are very rarely found except on nights of the full moon. Cleffa is even said to have landed on the earth from a meteorite, and that they are far more common when meteor showers happen. Those meteorites hold a strange power in them when they are examined, which is simply something that we accept to be a part of space itself.
It's not something the Cleffa can use at that time, but those stones have been shown to allow their evolution, Clefairy, to evolve into Clefable if exposed to them. There are many phenomenon and coincidences that certainly suggest that is is their home. And if nothing else, there is plenty of proof that they are not of our world.
no subject
Sense?
Sort of? ]
Doesn't evolution take a jackbillion years or something?
no subject
[Lusamine pauses for a moment, though.]
It's different then, where you come from?
no subject
[ She brushes past the Clefable now, both to get closer to Lusamine and also to examine the flower thing ]
Frogs start out as tadpoles and the like and birds hatch from eggs, but I don't think that's the same of evolution happening from moon rocks.
no subject
[Lusamine does keep her eye on Elda, and Lilligant holds herself still.]
Well, yes, everything hatches from eggs. But it sounds like your animals and ours Pokemon are two completely different thing. It would be interesting to see them for myself...
no subject
no subject
...Is this another one of the differences between your world and mine? What on earth do they come from, then?
no subject
[ . . . ] Humans don't lay eggs for you guys, do they?
no subject
[...you know, surprisingly enough, that's. Not too scandalizing. If she told it to one of the boys that'd be the most horrifying thing on earth for them. But Lusamine doesn't look all that perturbed.]
I would not have thought. I'm so used to there being eggs for every single species...
no subject
But then mammals like dogs and cats and monkeys all just give live birth. So do humans and vampires.
no subject
Well, I know about humans giving birth--we don't lay eggs, for the record. [Just. Clearing that up first.] But really, that is incredibly interesting. The Pokemon at home lay eggs with protective shells, that cradle the Pokemon inside until they hatch...
[...that's what the eggs are, basically. Pokemon cradles.]
What an unusual world you come from.
no subject
So even a Plant type [ She's so good with types, right...??? ] Like that one come from eggs?
no subject
[Lilligant does perk up for a moment, about to raise her hands in protest--but when she sees that she's going for the flower and not the 'do, she stands primly still.]
They do, yes. Really, think of any creature in your world, and I can robably tell you that they lay an egg in mine.
no subject
[ Bats that lay eggs, what a weird thought...? Elda shakes her head, trying to dismiss the thought, but just lets it sit there. Instead, she sort of runs her fingernail over the flower some more.
Huh. ]
no subject
[Seriously. Zubats are a scourge.]
no subject
[ Bats are apparently important.
Smiling, she says this ]
no subject
[She kind of smiles, just a bit?]
no subject
[ Vampire, and all. ]
