WEEK 2.

WEEK 2

Adelina and Kyrie Ushiromiya are dead.

Regardless of how you felt about them and whether or not you mourned their passing, life goes on. It seems the Wordsmith intends to make good on the rules he's left for you all.

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Either way, it seems there's nothing to do but move on - or, perhaps, move down. Another door in that holding area near the elevator seems to have opened up, leading into a corridor and a stairwell that seems to lead you somewhere beneath the dormitories, and eventually onto a new floor altogether.

Go ahead and explore all you like; after all, you did well at completing your lessons this past week.

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

[She peers into the room curiously.]

Hello Varric. What are you doing?
neverheardofhim: (the hawke smile tm)

[personal profile] neverheardofhim 2017-02-02 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
[Focused as Varric had been, it was impossible to miss the woman's approach, thankfully saving him from a startled jump of any sort. Instead he glanced over at Jasper, giving her something that... might be close to a smile?]

Trying to figure out how the hell to fix these things [He wriggled his pants about] with this. [And some vague motions toward the sewing machines.]
iaspis: (◇ the lessons that you taught me)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-02 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)
[Her head tips.]

...I see. I haven't seen a machine like that before.
neverheardofhim: (Default)

[personal profile] neverheardofhim 2017-02-03 06:05 am (UTC)(link)
You either? [That managed to draw a laugh from him.] Guess we're both out of our elements, huh?
iaspis: (✧ that i'm not the only person)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-04 12:15 am (UTC)(link)
Gem "clothing" is melded to our bodies.

There isn't any need.

[she's.... trying?]
neverheardofhim: (leaning over musing)

[personal profile] neverheardofhim 2017-02-04 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
[Well that's... interesting.]

How, uh... How does that work?
iaspis: (◇ no more lies)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-05 12:31 am (UTC)(link)
Our physical forms are projections with mass. We aren't flesh and blood.
neverheardofhim: (did you fart?)

[personal profile] neverheardofhim 2017-02-05 12:37 am (UTC)(link)
Uh... huh.

[Just... blinks at her.]

Is it some form of magic, then?
iaspis: (◇ guilty by association)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-05 01:55 am (UTC)(link)
[Her head tips.]

That... is a way to think of it, I guess. If it helps.
neverheardofhim: (did you fart?)

[personal profile] neverheardofhim 2017-02-05 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
Alright. Gem magic. Definitely not weird at all. [He spoke with a grin on his lips.]

Gotta admit, that's better than having to stitch your clothes back together. [He motioned to the task at hand.]
iaspis: (☆ i am what i want you to want)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-05 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, I suppose.

But it means there's plenty I don't know. I'm noticing it's a disadvantage here.
neverheardofhim: (shit eating grin)

[personal profile] neverheardofhim 2017-02-05 11:07 am (UTC)(link)
You're not the one who has to stand on a pot in order to get anything done in the kitchen. [Not to mention the lights. Or the elevators. Or sewing machines.]

I might not be a pro at the technology here, but I tell you what. You need any help with human nuance, I'll be your translator.
iaspis: (✧ what i thought was never real)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-05 11:09 pm (UTC)(link)
[To be fair, she's not the sort to thing less of someone who is tiny, considering there are Gems Varric's size who outrank her.

Still, it's a good point.]

I will ask, in that case.
neverheardofhim: (i farted)

[personal profile] neverheardofhim 2017-02-06 06:11 am (UTC)(link)
Looks like we have ourselves an arrangement then. Though -- [He paused, still grinning.] What is it that I get from you, in that case?
iaspis: (◇ the lessons that you taught me)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-06 08:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Is there anything you need?
neverheardofhim: (headtilt)

[personal profile] neverheardofhim 2017-02-06 10:59 pm (UTC)(link)
[A pair of thick brows knitted together in thought, before lifting up in an amused expression.]

For someone to not laugh when I ask them to grab something off of a high shelf.
iaspis: (✧ what i thought was never real)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-11 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
[She smiles, nodding.]

I can do that.
neverheardofhim: (shit eating grin)

[personal profile] neverheardofhim 2017-02-11 07:24 am (UTC)(link)
[And that will net Jasper a grin.]

Sounds like the start of a beautiful friendship.
iaspis: (◇ all my talk of taking action)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-12 01:44 am (UTC)(link)
I hope so.

[that might be a touch too smug, but]
