WEEK 2.
Adelina and Kyrie Ushiromiya are dead. Regardless of how you felt about them and whether or not you mourned their passing, life goes on. It seems the Wordsmith intends to make good on the rules he's left for you all. Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Either way, it seems there's nothing to do but move on - or, perhaps, move down. Another door in that holding area near the elevator seems to have opened up, leading into a corridor and a stairwell that seems to lead you somewhere beneath the dormitories, and eventually onto a new floor altogether. Go ahead and explore all you like; after all, you did well at completing your lessons this past week. |

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]
room 21
Don't you think it's a little dangerous to...
[Leave your... uh...]
What's that supposed to be?
no subject
It's an effigy. I'm going to burn it to cast a curse on someone.
[His voice is very flat as he speaks. No, he's not serious about it.]
no subject
Who's the unlucky curse victim?
no subject
[In hindsight he should have said 'Gold' to see what Silver did, but oh well.]
no subject
What kind of curse, anyway? Are you cursing him to forever having slightly burnt meals, or what?
[Watanuki seems exactly that petty, if you ask him.]
no subject
[He absolutely is that petty.]
no subject
[Not a jerk in general, because Gold would never do anything without five layers of blankets.]
no subject
no subject
In that case, I pick all.
no subject
With those two curses, I think most of the bad behavior in this place would be curbed. They would be too uncomfortable to cause any trouble.
no subject
Please don't put a curse on me too.
no subject

no subject
[Did he laugh? He might have just laughed. Which is actually a rarity for Watanuki here, he's been so serious and uptight with about 90% of the people here.]
no subject
Silver doesn't really know how to respond for a moment, but his expression eventually relaxes; it's gentler than usual, even if he isn't necessarily smiling.]
It's not gonna kill you to lighten up every now and then, you know.
no subject
I do lighten up, you know. It's just always around people who actually want to laugh with me, instead of at me.
no subject
Like blowing out a bunch of candles and taking your ghost story too lightly.
[He doesn't have much room to talk at the moment.]
...Sorry about that. I got carried away.
no subject
Which is actually weird for Watanuki to hear, he's not used to getting honest apologies. It makes him shift uncomfortably in place.]
It's- I understand, in big groups like that it's easy to get carried away.
no subject
[Sure, he was egged on, but that doesn't mean that he didn't cause the problem in the first place. He considers adding on more, trying to explain himself, but he shakes his head- he's made his point, and from the sound of it, it's water under the bridge.]
...How much of that story was true, anyway?
[Judging by Watanuki's reaction, he has a hard time believing it was completely made up.]
no subject
The hesitation there is Watanuki considering how safe it is. Even if he wants to make friends, he's still Independent. Gotta look out for number 1 first.
But eventually, he does respond.]
The real ending is different: the guy who was grabbed by the spirits, he didn't disappear forever. One of his friends used his exorcism abilities to quiet the spirits, which let the others drag the guy back from where he had been snatched away to.
[Take that as you will, Silver.]
no subject
I think I like the happy ending better.
[It's not exactly a prime pick for ghost story night, but who cares?]
no subject
I agree, ghost stories with happy endings are much better in general. All the creepy and scary stuff? Not fun at all. At least if there's a happy ending, then everything turns out alright. Or mostly alright.
no subject
[...And since I neglected to mention Weavile is here for this entire damn thread, now is the moment that he's going to pop up from behind Silver and look proud of himself. No ghosts would ever get near him anyway! They're too scared.]
no subject
Ghosts like this guy here? Or are you not a ghost?
[Yes, that last part is said right to Weavile. Nonhumans have a habit of being able to talk in his world, so.]
no subject
It loves to bite and yank people's hair from behind without warning, just to see their shocked reactions.]
Here. This one's a ghost.
