and it takes, and it takes, and it takes
[It... definitely takes a while for the weekly after-execution note to arrive, but it does --- kind of scrawly and on ripped paper rather than nice stationery.]
EY. YO. WE GOT EFFIGIES IN THE DINING ROOM AND WE'RE GONNA BURN EM.
FOOD TOO. THE USUAL AND HOT COCOA. GOOD FOR THE SOUL. GET SOME. MAYBE TAKE IT BACK TO YOUR ROOM IF YOU HAVE TO. JUST GET SOME.
[Anyway, in the dining room, there's plenty of mugs set out, with a janky looking arrow sign pointing into the kitchen to where you can get your hot cocoa. On the table, there's Vichyssoise, a pot of green tea, and some booze. There's also a cookie tray on the floor away from the table on which to burn the Wordsmith and Kimbley effigies, which are handily placed near the food on the table.
...also if you go in the kitchen without shoes on just. Watch the northern corner. There's no kidneys, but there's a lot of broken plates there for some reason...]

He knocked at the door at first, almost, until he saw the paper and pen. At the very least, even though Mikazuki can be slow to the uptake, he can pick up cues...eventually.
He'll begin to write to the man. ]
Good evening, Silver. Would you like to have some tea?
If you would like for me to sneak you any snacks through the door too, let me know.
no subject
Weavile, Aibo, and Polibo would appreciate snacks. I'm not hungry, but they haven't eaten all day.

[ He's probably one of the few people who don't really know much about the Pokemon Silver or Gold had (or much about Pokemon in general). ]
And I assume they're in the room with you? If they are, do they have any preferences to what they may eat?
no subject
[His handwriting is shaky to begin with, but it definitely messes up when he writes Gold's name.]
They aren't picky. You don't have to go out of your way.
no subject
I'll be right back, then.
[ He'll leave, and then return with a plate of cookies. ]
I've returned. Do you want me to leave this plate here or...?
no subject
...It's opened a little wider when he sees that it's Mikazuki, but not by much.]
Thanks. Sorry about this.
[It is pretty obvious from the redness around his eyes that he's been crying like hell, but his voice is pretty steady despite that.]
no subject
Ah, it is no problem, and don't worry about it.
I'm just glad to be able to help at least a little.
no subject
If you have something to say, say it.
[Being upset over Gold's death doesn't make what he did magically go away.]
no subject
[ He'll smile slightly though, as if that wasn't a problem, though, because he's thought to revise it now. ]
But if you don't mind, we can have a bit of smalltalk, right?
no subject
Yeah, sure.
[Mikazuki's been nice to him, and helped him out before. The least he can do is be polite.]
no subject
...Well how about we talk a little bit about Pokemon? They don't have them in Japan, nor have they ever, as far as I know. Seeing as they're quite unique, do they have any special abilities or anything?
no subject
Yeah. They all do.
[Silver opens the door a little wider so the Pokémon can get around his legs and look at Mikazuki; they're all visibly distressed, but they're doing their best.]
Polibo- he's a Politoed- is a water-type. He can hit really hard with jets of water or twist it into Whirlpools, for starters. Weavile's big on ice. He can freeze pretty much anything in an instant. Aibo's really strong, and can make himself a lot faster, then send that speed to another Pokémon.
[...None of them can do any of that here, of course, but still.]
no subject
[ Mikazuki passes the distressed Pokemon a smile too, because they might as well be people too as far as he's concerned. ]
But anyway, each Pokemon is a certain "type"? Is each type mostly consisting of just elements?
no subject
[Ah yes, Pokémon and being a little too happy with its elements.]
no subject
[ Naturally this confuses him. Ah yes, bless Pokemon... ]
no subject
[...Pokémon--!]
no subject
Well, I think I can see why Bugs can be effective against grass, because in nature some do eat grass things. But, why are they strong against Psychic? Wouldn't something like that just throw things at the Bug Pokemon?
no subject
[A lot of the different types make a lot of easy sense, but... That one's a little harder to explain.]
no subject
Bug Buzz... well, that could be really a distracting sound to a Pokemon that's trying to meditate, if there's a consistent buzzing around happening.
[ ... Is he trying to understand Pokemon things? Yes, yes he is. ]
no subject
[Why isn't there an old saying about not pissing off Yanma? There should be.]
no subject
[ That sounds particularly horrifying to him... ]
