WEEK 1.

WEEK 1

As much as this sounds like a bad joke all around, it looks like one thing is being played completely straight: you're not going anywhere. After the Kingmaker has answered your questions (or, well, perhaps it's more accurate to say he didn't answer them, at least as far as most of those little Q&A sessions went), you'll be left up to your own devices – feel free to continue exploring and getting to know your fellow Survivors for the next several days. Should you want to eat something you're free to use the kitchen before 10PM, but after that the doors will be locked and no amount of fussing with the locks or trying to break them down will get them to budge. And no, the robot cannot punch them in for you.

Notably, though, starting bright and early on Monday morning (or maybe just early, since there aren't any windows) you'll be treated to the most unholy damn noise – it's very definitely an electric siren of some sort, probably some kind of klaxon, blaring out over the PA system. It only blasts once, but really, for something that loud, once is enough. This will happen every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM. You'll be able to hear it no matter what room you're in. There isn't any punishment for sleeping through it, but you don't want to waste the day in bed, now do you?

(Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.)

SURVIVORS REMAINING: 27

[OOC: Welcome to week one of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

There are also two new posts for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]
cherryblooded: (calm / wait what)

Not much help here, I'm afraid - I went to bed with my wife and fell asleep.

[Almost embarrassingly mundane.]
isafraid: (I don't know anymore)

[personal profile] isafraid 2016-02-29 07:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, your wife... the lobster, correct?

[That's still a thing, isn't it.]
cherryblooded: (smile / pleased)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-02-29 07:07 pm (UTC)(link)
[Yep, still a thing.]

That's her. Doloz is her name.
isafraid: (Hmm?)

[personal profile] isafraid 2016-02-29 07:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Err, sorry. Doloz. [Yup. Still a thing we're going with.]

With a last memory like that, it's hardly a wonder why you were worried for her. [Lobster or not, these kidnappers seemed unnecessarily cruel.] If some kidnapper can nab someone right out of their bed, who knows what they're really capable of!
cherryblooded: (calm / not as fine)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-02-29 07:55 pm (UTC)(link)
It's not as if she's a light sleeper, either. It shouldn't have been easy to get me here, but here I am.
isafraid: (Oh look a boat exploded today)

[personal profile] isafraid 2016-02-29 08:04 pm (UTC)(link)
[...Speedwagon will take his word on the sleeping habits of giant lobsters.]

I suppose it wouldn't be easy to take someone from inside their home in the first place. Not quite as difficult when you're in the middle of the street.

[Then again, Ogre Street was almost a literal maze some of the time.]

Where'd you live then, if that's a fact.
cherryblooded: (calm / talking)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-02-29 08:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Deepsea Town. Underwater, like the name suggests, which should make it difficult for most humans to get to.

...So I'm not certain this person is a human. Doubt it, actually.
isafraid: (OH)

[personal profile] isafraid 2016-02-29 09:59 pm (UTC)(link)
You live...! [He just.

puts a hand on his face.

of course.
]

Cor....
cherryblooded: (smile / pleasant)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-02-29 10:48 pm (UTC)(link)
You've heard stranger things in the past couple days than shrimp living underwater.
isafraid: (a bizarre day)

[personal profile] isafraid 2016-03-01 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
I know, but it's only now I realized that's the case with you.

[He's sort of been thinking of you has more or less human, Cherryblod...]
cherryblooded: (smile / happy)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-01 01:46 am (UTC)(link)
Guess I'm full of surprises.

[This is all actually kind of funny.]
isafraid: (Too hot (hot damn))

[personal profile] isafraid 2016-03-01 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
I'll say, having this many conversation with sealife is someting I weren't expecting.

[Usually there's very little conversation to be had around the dinner table.]

Actually... just what are you, anyway?
cherryblooded: (smile / that so?)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-01 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
I'm a shrimp, just like I said. Maybe a different kind than you normally see.
isafraid: (allow me to elucidate ya)

[personal profile] isafraid 2016-03-01 04:05 am (UTC)(link)
[He almost laughs. Almost.]

You're more then right on that point. Where I come from, shrimp are just what they're named, like as not. Can't say anything like mermaid-shrimp are common either.
cherryblooded: (calm / not as fine)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-01 01:49 pm (UTC)(link)
You've probably been eating my cousins, in that case. Distant cousins.

...Don't mean to put you off seafood forever.

[Just don't eat him or his close family and we're good.]
isafraid: (But that's not possible!)

[personal profile] isafraid 2016-03-01 09:59 pm (UTC)(link)
[why. why did you have to say that. He's already looking a little uneasy.]

For what it's worth... can't really say I've ever eaten lobster. That's usually something saved for the upper clasess.
cherryblooded: (smile / sigh)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-01 10:00 pm (UTC)(link)
That's good to hear. Less people I have to be uncomfortable around.
isafraid: (Hat trick)

[personal profile] isafraid 2016-03-01 10:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess it would be the little things.

[Like eating your wife's species.]
cherryblooded: (sweat / um)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-01 10:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm sure they're all very nice people. I try not to let it get to me.
isafraid: (JONATHAN WOULD DO IT)

[personal profile] isafraid 2016-03-02 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
Well that's probably for the best - and before you know it, we'll be out of here, and a good number of us may be out of your hair.

[...Antennae? gills? What.]

Until then, I'd say not worrying is the best idea we can have.
cherryblooded: (smile / happy)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-02 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, now. I wouldn't mind having a few of you in my hair now and again, food aside.

It'd be a shame to never meet again after this, I mean.
isafraid: (I am a man of wealth and taste)

[personal profile] isafraid 2016-03-02 10:00 am (UTC)(link)
....Strewth. It's only been a few days, and already we're getting declarations like that on our hands.

[like you're any better, speedy]
cherryblooded: (smile / well shucks)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-02 10:06 am (UTC)(link)
Well, why not? Adversity brings people together, and this is pretty adverse.
isafraid: (Allow me to introduce myself)

[personal profile] isafraid 2016-03-04 07:11 am (UTC)(link)
Adverse and mad!

[not that it's a bad thing, mind.]
Edited 2016-03-04 07:12 (UTC)
cherryblooded: (smile / pleasant)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-04 10:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Certainly mad. Insane by any reasonable definition.
