WEEK 1
As much as this sounds like a bad joke all around, it looks like one thing is being played completely straight: you're not going anywhere. After the Kingmaker has answered your questions (or, well, perhaps it's more accurate to say he didn't answer them, at least as far as most of those little Q&A sessions went), you'll be left up to your own devices – feel free to continue exploring and getting to know your fellow Survivors for the next several days. Should you want to eat something you're free to use the kitchen before 10PM, but after that the doors will be locked and no amount of fussing with the locks or trying to break them down will get them to budge. And no, the robot cannot punch them in for you.

Notably, though, starting bright and early on Monday morning (or maybe just early, since there aren't any windows) you'll be treated to the most unholy damn noise – it's very definitely an electric siren of some sort, probably some kind of klaxon, blaring out over the PA system. It only blasts once, but really, for something that loud, once is enough. This will happen every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM. You'll be able to hear it no matter what room you're in. There isn't any punishment for sleeping through it, but you don't want to waste the day in bed, now do you?

(Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.)

[ That sure is a crossword puzzle. Aqua takes them, honestly pretty interested in the puzzle. ]

This is a wonderful way to get to know each other, and maybe uncover clues.

Right?! I thought it was an awesome idea! But not everyone's on there, I'm afraid, 'cause I don't really know everyone yet, but I promise you'll be on the second one, Miss Aqua! Pinky swear!

That's alright, Misa--there are a lot of people here. [ She doesn't feel offended in the slightest. ] What gave you the idea in the first place?

There are, but I want to try and be friends with all of them! Everyone seems super friendly, after all! I got the idea because I thought it'd make our memory stronger! Brain games are good at that, after all! Misa-Misa figured that maybe if we exercised our brains enough, we could remember what happened to us before we got here!

[ ... Aqua's not entirely sure that's how it really works, but she's so enthusiastic it's hard to refute her. ]

I'll make sure to take care to do it well. I think everyone else will, too. If you need any help coming up with making them, I'll be glad to help you.

Oh, thank you so much! I appreciate it a lot, honest! But I need to come up with a fun fact about you to put on it...I haven't decided if I should make the next one easier or harder yet.

I'll have to think of one, then.

[ Hmm. She looks over the crossword. ]

Maybe you could make it a bit harder, and increase the difficulty with each puzzle.

Ooh, that's a good way to see if we're improving! I think that's a great idea! Super-genius!

It will also make sure we're working together, especially if the clues get more difficult.

Yes, that's spectacular! Like, if Misa-Misa puts a clue on here that says "Miss Aqua's favorite color," that'd mean a lot of people would have to ask you what your favorite color is! And then we can make friends from there! It seems so simple now that I've said it out loud!

If we ask for things like someone's favorite food or animal, I'm sure it could reveal something about them.

[ She pauses. ]

Just in case, my favorite color is purple.

Misa-Misa's is black, but you probably could have guessed that just by looking at my outfit...and my second favorite is red! My favorite food is konpeito! And my favorite animal is a sheep!

Sheep are very cute, but I do love cats. [ Tilting her head here. ] Konpeito?

Oh, have you never tried them? They're really cute! They're basically little lumps of sugar, like rock candy? But a lot sweeter, and shaped like little stars! And they come in all of the colors of the rainbow!

I've never even heard of them! But they sound wonderful. I'll have to see if there are any here.

If I knew how to make them, I'd definitely give you some, but, it seems like the kind of thing that's tough to make...maybe I'll have to see if there are any cookbooks in the library? Maybe if I'm lucky, I can find a recipe!

Even if there's not, you could always experiment. I've never made rock candy before, but maybe someone else would have an idea.

That's true! I can always ask around. It looks like a lot of people here are also from Japan, so I'm sure they at least know about it, if not how to make it.

Come to think of it, Miss Aqua, where are you from?

What is your home like, Misa?

My home is the Land of Departure--I lived at the top of a mountain there, in a large castle.

A castle?! Does that mean you're a princess?! I can't believe it, I actually know someone who lives in a castle! It sounds beautiful! I just live in boring old Japan...Tokyo is pretty huge, and filled with people, but it's nothing all that special! There's a lot of hustle and bustle, is all!

[ She shakes her head. ]

I'm not, but I have met princesses during my travels. I wish I could show you; I'm sure you would love it.

But your home doesn't sound bad at all. It seems like there's always something to do, if there's a lot of hustle and bustle.

Well, I'm busy most of the time with modelling, but if nothing else, that lets me go to see a lot of different places! I actually just recently moved to a new house in Shinjuku, so, getting used to the place has been a little bit tough! But I get to be closer to my fans that way, so, that's pretty nice...

[ When they're not stalking her. ]

Tell me about the princesses you've met, though! I'd love to hear about them!

You must really care about them, don't you? What sort of clothes do you model? Your style suits you well.

[ Hmm. ]

The first princess I met was Cinderella. She'd just run away from a ball, and had left her glass slipper behind. There were three ladies who seemed suspicious, too; I followed them to their home not too far away. After I helped Cinderella regain her slipper, she was attacked by her pumpkin carriage. I fought and saved her--but...

[ But... ]

The three ladies... they perished just before the fight, overtaken by their inner darkness.

Well, I usually try on all sorts of things, but I think this style is my favorite! Misa-Misa thinks they call it "Gothic Lolita"...it's very fashionable, and it's getting more popular nowadays! You should see what my room looks like back home! It's filled with tons of stuff that matches the things I wear!

But wait, though, wait, hold on just a second...Are you saying that you met Cinderella? Like, the Cinderella?! Those three girls must have been her wicked stepsisters!

That's...such a weird version of the story, though. Why would Cinderella's carriage attack her?

I'd love to see it. I'm afraid I don't know much about fashion, but I'm interested, especially if it's so important to you. Gothic Lolita... is it all dark colors, then?

I'm surprised you know of her, if it's the same Cinderella. [ are you ready, Misa ] The carriage became possessed by what is called an Unversed--emotions that have taken physical form. It fed off the jealousy of her stepsisters and stepmother, and turned on her.
