WEEK 8 Another two Survivors have died this week. Shirazu and Aiden both cared deeply for their families and ultimately, their lives were lost because of an incentive targeting their loved ones. Who will fall victim to an incentive this week? Who will survive? That's up to you all, isn't it? Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... If you venture up to the seventh floor, you'll find that there aren't another set of stairs leading upwards. It seems that this is as high as you can go. You're free to explore, of course, but you won't have any new rooms to discover. SURVIVORS REMAINING: 10

[It is also the kind of laugh that attracts attention. That is why Mouri arrived, and now he is staring at Cherryblod laughing with a rapping trout.

Has the local shrimp finally lost his sanity? Mouri doesn't even dare to approach]

[The rapping trout, at least, is not directly his fault.

After a bit more giggling, Cherryblod notices that Mouri is hanging around.]

...for a moment I thought you had cracked under the pressure of everything, you know.

Besides you didn't seem exactly...happy for having received that trout. Is it something that belongs to your daughter or...

It's just been a while since I've seen a talking fish. And it'll be even longer until I see one again.

[So this was really like a reminder of Cherryblod's home. That is...actually quite sad. Mouri shuffles awkwardly]

Maybe Colress-san knows a Pokemon that is a talking fish. It sounds like the kind of creature that'd live in his world. It wouldn't a replacement for what you may see back at your home, but if that helps you feel better...

A Pokemon is closer to a pet than a person... but I appreciate the thought.

Once a minute or two passes Mouri decides to try to be hopeful for other people's sake. He doesn't completely believe everything will fall into the best case scenario but this is no time for despair and being depressed, so...]

Hey, not everything is lost. Who knows, it's possible we can take control of whatever the Kingmaker was using to get to our worlds. You could return to yours.

[Supposing it is not destroyed, but that sounds like it can be repaired too. The Kingmaker had said he could]

If my memories are true, it might be kinder to destroy it.

[That's unfair for him to say, and he knows it. Not everything is ruined - just his home. Not everyone is dead, just everyone he knows.]

Sigrun's invited us to her world. That's where we'll go.

To her world?!

Are you sure about that? It doesn't sound safe at all! Almost everything is infected and there are trolls getting slaughtered everywhere. I'm not sure it'd be a good idea to be there.

Where would be better? Yosuke's world, where everyone is human? They'd dissect me.

Will you join her hunting team or something? I don't doubt you know to defend yourself, but it won't be pleasant to be in that world.

Of course. I have to pay back my captain somehow for her hospitality, and I have to make up for a few extra mouths to feed.

What about your daughter? Is she the fighting type too?

Almost as good as me. She'll be fine.

Okay, you convinced me. You and her will be okay.

[He is not fully convinced mainly because he hasn't seen Cherryblod fight, but no one spends so long being a mobster without knowing to defend oneself]

Eide-san had kind of invited me to her world, too, but I rejected the invitation. To be frank if I had to choose a world to live to - besides mine - I'd go for Colress-san's. It seems more peaceful than the rest.

[No god fighting, no aliens, no hundreds of murders...]

[Aside from the part where he mentioned it narrowly avoided destruction before the whole vault thing even happened.]

Think most of us would like it. Except Sigrun, maybe, since apparently they frown on fighting Pokemon yourself.

Pokemon fighting each other doesn't sound much better either. They explode.

[Colress had assured them there was no damage but still, it sounds so bad! Self-destruction, explosion, really?]

...well Colress-san says they don't get hurt, so it could be worse. When I obtain mine I don't think I'll make it fight anyone. I'd rather it not risk injury.

Don't want mine to get bored, so I suppose it depends on how it feels about the whole thing.

What will be yours, by the way? I bet a shrimp Pokemon exists.
