since we came here it was understood that we'd take responsibility for our actions
and that turned out to mean death for death
i guess people might feel different if we weren't the ones choosing a name off a list?
but we are, and that's our responsibility, our job
people who kill lose that

we shouldn't pity the people who kill
or pity ourselves for having to do what's instructed so that we can live on
but it's just always felt like that, to me, with those gatherings
"what could i have done to save them, to stop them, i wish we didn't have to do this anymore"
that kind of thing
i'm not innocent there either and i had my own pity party after mettaton too
but instead of wishing you could do something or thinking about what you could've done, why not just do it?

but if you don't want something to happen anymore you stop it
it's a lot to ask for though
