This week has been difficult; between the death of Milla Maxwell and the fact that this motive seems to have hit several people far harder than the last, there's been an unmistakable tension in the air for the past several days. The week is coming to a close; it's been seven days since the last murder. If no one's moved as of this morning, time is becoming incredibly short before everyone's secrets are revealed. Either way, the morning dawns undeterred on Friday; the chimes ring out, signaling the hour, and the first and second floors seem clear. For some of you, that may be enough to ensure that you start your day normally; some of you, however, may wish to be a bit more thorough and check the third floor down, just to make sure everything really is all right. [The shards seem to have radiated out from the epicenter; you're seeing lot of shards, a lot of smaller chips that look like they may have been...paint...? Possibly paint at some point. Skin-toned paint.

And interestingly (fortunately) enough, no blood.

However, there does appear to be a mass of some sort, different to the shards, that's ended up a bit further under the pool table; want to take a look?]

One could say that I do, now and then. Back in Morioh I have a very nice life no one questions or finds odd, but it seems that no matter which way I turn here one of you finds something peculiar about my attempted routine.

Well, humans are among thousands, normally. It's hard for a fly or an ant to look strange. But when it's in a room of only thirty people, it's a lot harder to be invisible.

[ She sighs, picking up a d12 ]

[Well, now that you're getting a closer look...that certainly did used to be someone's head down here.

It's mostly and bizarrely intact, severed a bit below where the neck would end; the neck itself appears less to have been cut and more to have been snapped off - much in the way a mannequin or a ball-jointed doll's would be if enough pressure or force were applied to it. There's damage to the face as well, parts of it are missing in a very high-force sort of way, revealing complete hollowness inside as opposed to muscle and sinew.

Even with the damage, though, the person is still recognizable; the straight black hair and blank expression, even after an incident so clearly violent, is distinctive and unmistakable.

Chiyuki is dead.]

Since there are...shards of poor Chiyuki everywhere, she's not going to try investigating in that room with no shoes or socks. So let's start here in the Infirmary.
