This week has been difficult; between the death of Milla Maxwell and the fact that this motive seems to have hit several people far harder than the last, there's been an unmistakable tension in the air for the past several days. The week is coming to a close; it's been seven days since the last murder. If no one's moved as of this morning, time is becoming incredibly short before everyone's secrets are revealed. Either way, the morning dawns undeterred on Friday; the chimes ring out, signaling the hour, and the first and second floors seem clear. For some of you, that may be enough to ensure that you start your day normally; some of you, however, may wish to be a bit more thorough and check the third floor down, just to make sure everything really is all right. It's called Solitaire, darlin'. And it's not a "pattern", it's a game. It's something you usually play by yourself but it looks like our friend here didn't get to finish it all the way.

[Most of the glass shards are kind of on the smaller side, the sort of thing that's going to take literally all day to piece together; at the same time, there are some shards a bit further away that seem to have survived the blast a little better - they're thicker, and the edges that aren't broken seem rounded.]
