While the week may not have been everything that was hoped for, it hasn't been met with much tragedy, either; things have been solved, things have been found, and once again, the week has passed without interference from the executioner. Overall, it hasn't been too bad; however, that doesn't mean that things haven't been strained in some way or another – the incentive and all of the deaths you've been dealing with over the past several weeks are surely taking a toll of some sort on the group. The chimes ring out on Friday morning, as they always do; the morning is quiet, but that doesn't mean that things have been uneventful. The third floor is probably enough indication of that, actually. Don't worry, it's not like there's blood thrown around or bodies in the hallways; just the same, that doesn't mean the night passed easily for all of you. You know. [Well, she may as well investigate now that she knows what's up. What's in the dining room? Anything that obviously catches her eye as she comes in? If not, she's going straight to the table.]

[There is indeed! There are notes! They read:

Silver and Vanille's Kitchen Adventures!
- sugar cookies, but make sure to keep the stronger flavorings away for now
- pies!
- could we make a cake out of creampuffs?
- make sure he knows not to turn the temperature too high
- safety notices, perhaps a list?
- go through the uses of utensils and such, another list?
- curry (ask Estelle)

There's something a little odd about the handwriting though.]

[The table's a good place to look! There isn't anything else off in the room itself, so good pick. It looks like someone left something out!]

[Well, all things considered, Lusamine was never that big of a fan of the idea of searching a body--she's thankful that seems to be...otherwise settled, even if she worries a bit.

But for now, she's going to give the room a thorough sweep. Anything interesting going on in here?]

[ Oh dear, what could be odd about it? Elda will certainly try to examine what she can without her document, but if necessary... well, she'll get it in time for the trial at least out of her room. ]

[This is disgusting. Silver doesn't really want to look at the body. At the same time, the thought that this could happen to someone like Watanuki or Elda, or that they could all end up dying on the pit fills him with determination.

So after mentally bracing himself, he'll check the head; specifically, where it separates from the rest of the body. ...God, he hates this. Is it a clean cut? Is it messy? What's he looking at here.]

[Bowls and silverware! It looks like someone was eating something here at some point. You'll probably be able to recognize what's in the bowls as well - curry!

One of the bowls is still completely full while the other has been eaten out of. There's also something a little strange about the curry...]

You know how when you put your head down, either because you're feeling sick or want to sleep, you'll generally put your arms down in some way to help you balance and probably cradle your head a bit? She doesn't seem to have done that - her head is turned to the side like she's resting, but her arms are down, angled in a slightly odd way between her body and the table, one of her hands resting a little haphazardly in her lap and the other down towards her side.

She's also leaning so far over the table that it's pressing up against her chest, in a spot below her ribcage that would definitely be uncomfortable to sustain for any period of time.]

[It's definitely obvious even without the document - the handwriting here looks very close to everything else in the notebook but for some reason it's shaky-looking. There are some points where the ink has seeped through the page a bit too much and others that are incredibly light. Basically, it looks a little weird.

There's also something weird about the ripped edges...]

[So that is intriguing. She's not sure how to feel about this...

Why is one full and one empty? Also, what's strange about it? She probably would know considering she spent an entire goddamn day making curry earlier this week.]

[It looks like it was a clean cut - and like it was done in one strike, too, so it was probably done with something fairly large as opposed to someone trying to take a kitchen knife to her or something.]

[The most pressing thing is probably the state of the room itself - pews are knocked over but there's something a bit odd about them. Only the ones near the front are knocked over and they've all just been tipped a bit.

...It doesn't really look like a fight took place here is what I'm saying.]

[ So this was being written under suspicious circumstances, maybe? She sort of looks at it from a few different angles, even turning it over to see where the ink bled through. She considers flipping through the notpad again to try to find the page the ink might've bled onto but it's at that point she notices the oddity of the edges.

What's odd there? ]

[What's strange is both how it smells and how it looks. Sure, it's curry, but you don't want to eat this curry. There's definitely something wrong about it. Don't eat the evidence, basically.]

[Alright that sure is odd. Is there anything else about her posture - or the chair and table actually - that's strange? Something that may indicate she'd been placed there?]

[That's just it, actually - there is no place where the ink bled through. The edges of the pages are telling the same story - they don't match the ripped pages in the notebook itself.]

[For what it's worth, there doesn't seem to be any blood around, so that's a little odd as well.]

So these are notes from an entirely different notebook, most likely? But in the same (at least at a glance) handwriting?

Either way, upon that realization she sort of flips through the notebook once more, to see if anything else will fall out or stand out. And if nothing does she's going to fold it all together and pocket it. ... Or well shove it down the top she's wearing but details ]

[That's right! There isn't anything else to note about the notebook (haha) but on the subject of note-writing... there is something kind of odd here. Or more accurately, something that should be here isn't.]
