The Wordsmith's message earlier this week was an ominous one; try as one might, it's difficult to ignore completely, especially with such few details provided to the group. "The end" is such a vague description; however, it does mean one thing, and that's the promise that all of this will come to a close, one way or another. He's promised you one other thing, however – that being that the only way to leave the building is by way of Rule Seven. The chimes ring out, as they always do, on Friday morning; a thorough check of the building will bring with it the realization that no one has died as of last night. There are no bodies to be found in any of the rooms; Kageshirou remains in the foyer, but in general it doesn't seem that anything has changed. However, it's plain that you're all getting restless, and perhaps understandably so; there's only one thing to do in that sort of circumstance, isn't there? After all, you've gotten good at this game; you know what happens on Fridays around here. There are a lot of places to check; just as a bit of advice, you might want to start on the lowest floor first. Other than that, however? You're on your own. Best of luck to you. >Explore?

[ You know what we're wearing at the end of this? Elda's wearing that dress she got the other day because it actually fits her and her sunglasses. Because morning is still rude.

... And you know what, let's go down to the bottom floor. Because it's still a little weird they didn't get a new one, right? Like is there anything up on the walls near where you'd expect the next staircase based on the other floors? ]

...well, alright. Maybe it'd be best to check the bottom floor for stuff going on, so let's go to the ballroom. Everything looking nice and normal over there?]

[That particular area is clear; there isn't anything unusual about it, there's just a solid wall.

[When it becomes clear no one's died. For the first time in two months, they're all still there, that's the sign that it's time to look around more. ...Maybe those unlocked rooms will heed something? The one off the ballroom, to start.]

Just sort of running her nails around it looking for any sort of breaks in the wall.

... But okay if there's nothing there, then yes, to the locked room office thing? At the end of the hall? She's not really looked around here before ]

[Reasonably so! There doesn't seem to be anything out of place in here, and everything seems about as put-together as it was when last you guys left it.

Are you staying in the ballroom itself, or going elsewhere?]

The room is dark, as it usually is, but Guzma has confirmed that there is a lightswitch in here, so it's not too hard to light up.

What are you looking for in here?]

[Jasper will head towards the east unlocked room, looking for anything immediately out of place.]

[Well, alright, that makes some sense. And it's good to know that much.

But it looks like she'll be joining Hanyuu by the unlocked door, so!]

[...Well, we still have a key that needs to go somewhere, right? She's going to be careful around the walls, but still, Hanyuu's going to look for anything that seems to be a false door or keyhole.]

[It seems good in here, actually - still dusty as hell, because, you know, locked until recently and no one's been particularly focused on housekeeping. But there doesn't seem to be anything too weird going on in here.]

[Lusamine had decided to go into the ballroom to investigate, so she follows Hanyuu in once she goes inside--gently knocking on the door to signal her presence.]

Hanyuu, may I come inside? What are you looking for?

Checking the walls is a good idea; you'll notice while you're doing that that the shelving unit that's still standing doesn't appear to be bolted to the wall.]

[Silver pulls the gold key out of his pocket and twirls it around his finger.]
