Of course! Though I must give a disclaimer that I am not much of a moviegoer myself, so this will be a more technical explanation.

[Obviously he's usually too busy being a NERD to enjoy movies.]

PokeStar Studios is located on an enormous complex in southwestern Unova. Trainers of all kinds go there to try their hand at acting in Pokemon-themed movies. Of course, some trainers make a career out of acting, but even the most novice of trainers are allowed to make a single movie. There is a wide variety of genres, and actors select rental Pokemon trained specifically for acting to use during filming.

Once filming is over, editing begins, and soon enough the trainers will be able to see their hard work on the big screen! Not all succeed, but there have been plenty of big hits from what I've heard.
