[Well, after that conversation with Cherryblod (which he spent about 80% of at Empathy Level Zero, and now he's just sort of worked up and has no fucking idea why) Mettaton will come upstairs to the game room eventually; he has more of those horrifying parfaits with him when he does, because after stressful things like that people tend to have a sugar crash and maybe swinging the pendulum in the other direction will help everyone keep their sanity tonight, and Yato hadn't exactly liked these things but he'd had the basic decency to pretend he did, and at this point everything Mettaton is doing can be summed up with "fuck it, I don't even know anymore."
He doesn't stay for long, though; just long enough to recognize that he doesn't want to be here. He'll go downstairs after a while, and while we're all spending time in rooms with morbid connections to them, he can be found in the art room after a while. He's not creating anything, though; he's got some of those palette knives with him, and he's in front of one of the easels, and he's apparently going to be there just setting blank canvas up on it and very calmly ripping it to pieces in various ways, the look in his eyes intense.
...He's got a lot of canvases, and given that he doesn't need to sleep, he's also got a lot of time.]
