[Chuckle. Somebody understands! At times like this Mouri is glad Ran doesn't get in trouble when she is by herself]
That is how it must be for every parent. You love them yet you can't keep them away of the world forever, no matter how you want to at times.
Maybe in the future that bad luck will be gone and you'll be able to relax a bit. Don't lose hope and it all will be okay.
