[Throughout the late afternoon and early evening, Stan seems to have put a surprising amount of effort into setting up the dining hall. It's not usually something he would do without any kind of potential gain, but hell - there's not a whole lot else to do here. And really, if he hangs up some of the ribbons from the sewing room, well, it's not like anybody was using them. He knows how to decorate for parties.

There is a conspicuous lack of glitter in any of the decorations, though. Too soon.

The only dish currently set out is a pan of cinnamon noodle kugel. It's a potluck, bring your own shit! He has bothered to make some punch, at least, as well as bringing down some booze from the bar. Maybe alcohol on Murder Night isn't the best idea, but he'll keep an eye out for anyone who decides to indulge. He'd have to anyway. Apparently passing out in the dining hall will end in explosions.

Speaking of rude and arbitrary rules: off to the side, there's a table labeled KINGMAKERS. There's only one piece of paper there now, a well-done drawing of what looks like a young, ostentatiously emo Mitt Romney. It's obviously Stan's, since he got here first, but he hasn't bothered to sign it; apparently you can submit anonymously or not, however you feel like. As long as we're all participating in the public mockery!]

[Cherryblod sets two plates on the food table - one of brownies, because how can he not, and one of pasta salad, because he was seriously worried that between him and Aqua there might not be enough actual food available in comparison to desserts.

As for the portraits, he signs his - it's definitely not his best work but that's intentional. The Kingmaker doesn't deserve effort in his portrait. Anyway, he got the impression of 'loser nerd' across, hopefully.

He's around the whole night, willing to approach anyone and chat them up, or be approached and congratulated on his clearly very accurate portrait.]

[At the corner of the table for the Kingmaker drawings, there is a neatly placed picture there. It's unsigned, the entry cleary anonymous, and although the origin of this picture is a mystery people may have remembered or noticed Bruce hanging around said table near the beginning of the event...

He's certainly nowhere near that table now, though; he's just hanging out around the corner of the festivities, as usual, drinking some tea like always while eating whatever the potluck has to offer. For his dish he's made some Philippine Abodo, or at least as close as he can get to it with the ingredients that are around here.

From time to time he might go around and mingle a bit, but for the most past he's content with staying his corner.]

[There are currently three entries. Cherryblod was the first to arrive after Stan, so he knows which one is Stan's, and which one is his. Therefore, the third belongs to the third person to show up.]

[Mouri doesn't join the Kingmaker portrait competition. He may have mellowed a bit since the beginning, but he still considers himself a mature adult and won't do something like this, no matter how much he spites the Kingmaker.

But at least he does bring food. It is some sort of roll with a crunchy shell, filled with what seems to be rice peppered with pieces of different kind of meats. It seems kind of...experimental. At least it is edible, if a bit salty.

The detective may be found nearby, reading a book, but anybody observant enough would notice he's paying close attention to the food. He wants to know if he made something people can enjoy, at least]

[They're on speaking terms again, so Cherryblod feels like it's alright to go interrupt Mouri "reading".]

[They were definitely rolls, even if he's not sure exactly what else he could call them.]

[Someone seems to be going to town on the rolls, that's for sure- Yosuke had taken one when picking over all the food, and after a bite had pulled over a bowl of his own stew. The stew had ended up a LITTLE bland due to his inexperience with seasoning, but spooned onto the salty rolls? Oh man he is in heaven right now.]

That's why Mouri approaches, badly acting as if he was just wandering around and not watching over the food]

[He even ladles some of the vegetable stew out for him, pushing it and one of the rolls into Mouri's hands like he's doing him a favor.]

[There's no sudden sigh of relief but the way Mouri's shoulders droop show he is quite relieved to hear that]

Really? That's great! Hm, thank you for liking them, I guess...? It was nothing, I just wanted to keep giving cooking a try.

Mmhm... honestly it's pretty boring by itself, but the veggies didn't turn to mush or undercook so I'll call it a win. But with the buns it's a lot better!

[To Sigrun's credit, she tried. And then just decided not to bring it because it'd be offensive to at least three people here. She's not a creative person, okay, not when it comes to trying to think up faces for people.

... But their beloved leader does have some braised salmon to offer for her meal, as tired as she seems. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday were all such work days; Thursday proved to be the day she pretty much dozed herself out between working on the final touches of one piece of her project with the intention of going back to the wood one later.

Don't mind if she just yawns away at a table. She won't drop off, and honestly will perk up should anyone come by to say hello. Conversation gives her energy!]
