WEEK 1.
Now that you've had a chance to yell at the Wordsmith, one thing is very clear. He wasn't lying. There's no escape from this place. You can explore all you like, but there aren't any ways to leave. It seems like there isn't much to do but settle in and get to know your fellow Apprentices. You're free to go wherever you'd like for the most part, but come 10PM the doors to the kitchen and the mail room will shut and lock and nothing you can do will get them to open. While you might be tempted to sleep in, you'll find that the clock in the foyer goes off every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM without fail. You'll be able to hear it no matter where you are; it seems it's being broadcast over the PA system. You're welcome to go back to sleep after you hear it, but surely you don't want to spend the whole day in bed? (Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.) |
MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week one of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

Oh! I didn't know there were others who liked to cook here too.
[Which is actually a relief because it means that Watanuki might not have to cook for 30 people at every meal.]
no subject
Yes, well--I live alone, so I've become fairly competent in a kitchen. Not that I'm any kind of chef, but I know enough to get by.
no subject
And Watanuki is still smiling, but after hearing that explanation it looks just a touch sadder.]
Ah, well, that's something I can understand too.
no subject
Is that so? You're quite young to be living on your own...'Watanuki', wasn't it? [Not that he memorized everyone's profiles, but heterochromia was a tough one to miss.]
no subject
Yes, that's right. Unfortunately, my parents aren't around anymore.
[He says it very calmly though, like he's long-since come to terms with it.]
Necessity breeds results, I suppose.
no subject
Likewise. [He acknowledged that with a noncommittal sound focusing back on the task at hand.] Hopefully the others have some measure of experience as well. I don't want this place burning down with us in it.

It's what makes each person's food unique. If everyone could follow the same recipe and get exactly the same results, then there wouldn't be any need for food cooking competitions, would there?

The Wordsmith hasn't demanded money, or power, or anything else. There aren't even any demands. So what he wants must be something that can't be bought. If this is a test of character, then I wouldn't be surprised at all.
[Spirits love that kind of shit.]
no subject
[yeah, that's not alarming at all]
I...suppose that would be in line with what we've been presented so far.
no subject
[He meant for that to be positive, really.]
no subject
That's a touching sentiment, though I could do without the attention of a psychopath.
