WEEK 3 As the second week draws to a close, two more have joined the deceased. Christo and Alani are dead, leaving twenty-six of you remaining. It may not seem like very many have died, but their absence will certainly be felt. Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Just like last week, a door in the stairwell has opened, leading you down further into the building; there are more rooms open to you down there - possibly even one that you'll find personally interesting. Go ahead and explore all you like; after all, you did well at completing your lessons this past week. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 26 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 25

[ Well, he is going to be out and about, and the sight is -- well, it sure is a thing. He's a little amused to see one actually placed up that isn't duct tape. ]

My, my, what a surprise, isn't it? Maybe he decided he didn't like the profile you had put up before?

He is trying to hide the truth, is what he's doing. I'm just a messenger trying to get the good word out, man.

[ He appears to be in deep thought (except he isn't, really) as he considers the other man's words. ]

Hmm, in that case it's a pity you can't put yours over this one. Do you think painting over this one would stick?

[ Not that they have... paint, as far as he could tell, but. ]

I mean, if we had paint, sure. Maybe I just need to get some new duct tape and recreate it in its proper place... but how is lightning gonna strike twice like that.

[ He tilts his head at the phrase. ]

I'm not really sure. But, sometimes if you wait for the just the right moment, and work hard enough, it may just happen.

...You know what, yeah, that's probably right. I think if I go ahead and try, I might be able to make it better.

I'd love to see whatever you may come up with. After all, that black blank space doesn't make for a good portrait.

[ That doodle was better, even. ]

Oh, and I may be able to provide some assistance too, if you want.

...oh, yeah, actually, that's ripe for the defacing, isn't it. You wanna help, then? What ideas do you have?

Yes it is. I'd like something like a mustache this big [ Mikazuki holds both of his hands out, a bit of distance to indicate how ridiculously big it would be -- ] and him to have a really big red nose. Like a button. So maybe something like red pen for that.

[ ... His ideas are a little ridiculous, maybe. ]

So, did you do this sort of thing often back at your home? Putting up such works of art and all?

[ The question is a bit light-hearted here. ]

Not exactly this kinda thing, but I know my way around a can of spray paint. Believe me, if we ever get any here, I'm decorating the heck out of the hallways.

I don't think I've ever seen a can of "spray paint" in action, before.

[ Sure it obviously probably involves spraying paint he thinks, but how... ]

If we ever get one of those, I'd like for you to show me how it works.

I have to admit, if we do get something like that I'm tempted to just make a big party out of it and invite everyone, so... you'll be the first to be there, I guess.

[ There's a smile on his face now, he's a little honored to be the first. ]

I will make sure to bring some tea at the very least. Cannot have a party without food and drink, right?

[ But that said, that'd be terrible (and hilarious) if they met an end before that happened. ]

Well, you asked, and it's something I like, so.

And yeah, that'd rule. We'd probably have to cover 'em so paint wouldn't get in them, but that'd be easy.
