WEEK 3.
As the second week draws to a close, two more have joined the deceased. Christo and Alani are dead, leaving twenty-six of you remaining. It may not seem like very many have died, but their absence will certainly be felt. Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Just like last week, a door in the stairwell has opened, leading you down further into the building; there are more rooms open to you down there - possibly even one that you'll find personally interesting. Go ahead and explore all you like; after all, you did well at completing your lessons this past week. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 25 |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]
MONDAY

Most people here she's totally excited to brag about her newly remembered granddaughter. Elda thus goes to the Mail Room first. She's been going there a lot the last few days, like once an hour or so. She picks up a letter to read later from Wordsmith but more importantly she picks up several pieces of paper so that she might draw! Elda retires to the game room so she might sketch Karin. Elda's art style is impeccable and detailed, the sort of sketch you might expect out of some bored noblewoman from a time long past. You also might notice that (especially when its not in color to show the different hair and eye colors) Karin looks basically identical to Elda, except with shorter hair and larger breasts. Another sketch she makes is of this four year old.
Once pleased with both of those, Elda goes to find a nail or some tape from the supply closet so that she might hang both on the wall of the game room. Because that's logical.
After that though, she's curious about all the things in here! She's more than up for if anyone wants to play cards with her, but she's actually opening all sorts of board games and rolling out their dice, a little bit befuddled by them all. Not that she bothers to read any of the rules. No, instead, looking at the bookshelves in here she finds the large, arcane looking tomes for some tabletop roleplaying game, picking out three or four of them and then looking through them. She's... confused? But confused in an interested sort of way. The vampire considers lugging them back to her room or to the Foyer, but she decides to stay on the same floor.
And so for the rest of the day you might find her sitting on the corner of the bar, idly leafing through such tomes as The Fiend Folio and The Curse of Stroke. She'll work this shit out somehow. Maybe it can even teach her real magic, it sure seems complicated enough for it. ]

"When a curious hate oozes calamity"... I could get "zero" out of this, but that seems too obvious.

... Elda was rolling some dice, but that's way more interesting. So she scoots closer. And closer.
To try and listen in / look around her to see what she's doing ]

Elda...did you draw that?
[Hi hello she didn't die last week surprisingly.]

I did! Isn't she darling? She's a real chip off the old block!

... This long removed from it all, she almost feels bad.
And so she answers, civilly, but not as animatedly as she has been all day, still touching up some new sketch, the Ren and Karin ones already on the desk next to her ]
Yeah, those are my grandchildren.

[...He almost turned right around and left when he saw Elda, but elected to instead calmly overlook her and pour himself a drink. If she wanted an apology for everything that trial had decided to be, too bad. Kira wasn't about to come forward with one anytime soon.]

But today, Hanyuu's going to try and keep going. Like things are normal. Like she didn't remember what she did the other night.
The best thing to do, of course, is check out the new floor. It's more than a little disturbing, that a new one's unlocked after someone else has died, but...
"R- Rika, Rika...!"
But, not thinking about things like that! So, Hanyuu will be looking around there, starting in the archery room and super abruptly just nope, not here for this today. Thankfully, the game room catches her attention more, relaxes her. She'll look through the board games, and take out a deck of cards, all with an air of fondness about her.]
Oh... Aah, they're so new...
[In any case. It doesn't seem she's opposed to a game.
Following that, she'll find her way to the billiards room, also something of interest. The dart boards, those are things she's seen before, but... The billiards, she really hasn't and that's a little fascinating? She pokes at a ball with a cue curiously. How do you play such a game?
Since those rooms hold most of her attention, it isn't until late that she wanders into the bar, and...hm. That one, she's not as fond of, proceeding rather warily.
"Huh...? Wh-where am I? Where is this? Where's--?!"
"Hanyuu..."
...Maybe she'll take a look at some of the drinks. Whatever's on the tap? (She'll find it gross but she won't know that yet.)
And...she wanders the hallways of the new floor, the upper floors. Thinking. The later it gets, the less she can push everything down. Hanyuu holds a troubled expression.
"Rika..."
"Hanyuu... Did I die?"
It's fine. It's okay. She saved her. Against all odds, she saved someone. So, it's fine. ...Right...?]

She's also feeling unsure, too, from her own dream. ]

Game Room
Hello, Ms. Furude.
[Since she's already over there and checking out the games, Lusamine will go up and greet her.]
Did you find something enoyable in this room?

so, that's where he'll be most of this fine day, shooting arrows into targets, shooting arrows into the arrows he's already shot-- filling his pockets with bullets?? just pocketfuls of loose bullets. he doesn't know. he's trying his best.
later on in the early evening, he's in the mail room, penning out a letter. the letter consists of: a salutation, one line of text, a complimentary close, and -- what he is currently putting far too much effort into-- a series of complicated and yet completely terrible doodles. he looks both tired and completely unwilling to stop what he's doing.]
