WEEK 3 As the second week draws to a close, two more have joined the deceased. Christo and Alani are dead, leaving twenty-six of you remaining. It may not seem like very many have died, but their absence will certainly be felt. Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Just like last week, a door in the stairwell has opened, leading you down further into the building; there are more rooms open to you down there - possibly even one that you'll find personally interesting. Go ahead and explore all you like; after all, you did well at completing your lessons this past week. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 26 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 25

Oh please! My Karin might be a particularly late bloomer, but she is still a vampire. I'm sure any kids you're watching over are rays of sunshine, that can't be good for either of them.

They'd just have to stay up a little later to play, that's all! [took that entirely literally]

That's never stood in the way of friendship before. I don't see why it'd start now.

Oh come on, I'm not making friends?!

Of course you're making friends! You're always talking with people! [beat] We're talking right now!

That doesn't make me friends with them or anything.

[ Seriously. ]

What are friends if not people you like talking to a lot?

What else am I going to do here?

[ Okay she could read, but there's no one to hunt except these guys who all smell mediocre and her family isn't around and bad stuff happens and... ]

[shakes his head and sighs, but fondly]

I don't understand why some people are so against calling what they have friendships! ["people" meaning like literally just elda and robbie.] Friendship is great! Why wouldn't you want friends?

[matchbreaker]

Because I don't even like all these people, a lot of them are humans, and more them are also probably going to die!

[See, that's three reasons! ]

You like some of them. [ha gotcha.

It hurts when people you like die. Telling yourself you didn't like them to begin with doesn't make it hurt less.

...I'm not telling anything. I had one conversation with Ushiromiya and that first dead girl each. I probably had maybe three at most with fish girl. ... I don't even remember the nerd's name. I didn't give a hoot about any of them.

Nobody is friends with everybody. [but as the weeks pass and their numbers dwindle.]

I'd be very sad if I died tomorrow and thought any of my friends didn't know how much I'd cared for them. That's all.

[matchbreaker]

[ She doesn't have a good answer for that. She almost says something to the effect of "yeah, I bet you would" but she knows that would be stupid. So instead she huffs and quickens her pace t keep up with said sliding.

She intended to go back to the Game Room, but she could be taken in to mess with bullets more ]
