WEEK 3 As the second week draws to a close, two more have joined the deceased. Christo and Alani are dead, leaving twenty-six of you remaining. It may not seem like very many have died, but their absence will certainly be felt. Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Just like last week, a door in the stairwell has opened, leading you down further into the building; there are more rooms open to you down there - possibly even one that you'll find personally interesting. Go ahead and explore all you like; after all, you did well at completing your lessons this past week. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 26 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 25

You know, if I had any idea I'd tell you. But unfortunately, no clue.

[She tips her head at it, staring for along moment.]

It... doesn't really look like it's one of the Pokemon, does it?

That's what's been bugging me a bit - it really doesn't.

[iaspis]

[She watches the plant thing do.... whatever it is a cat plant does for a long moment.]

Was it in one of those ball things the Pokemon stay in?

...It wasn't really in anything. Outside of the pot.

[He is not too familiar with Pokéballs, um.]

[...she isn't either, really.]

....I wonder how it survived in the machine.

...That's a good question, isn't it. Can it even photosynthesize in here, or...

[She stares at it for a while, watching it... what is it even doing? Trying to stalk a still, empty glass from its pot?]

I haven't seen any windows in this entire building.

[alchemicals]

I mean, it's also very much acting not like a plant, so maybe it doesn't...need...to...?

[It's going to knock that glass over you know it will cats are all the same]

No, it acts more like an animal.

[Oh yes, it is. And right then, as if on cue, it swats at the glass, and doown it goes.

...hopefully a cat plant knocking things over for the hell of it isn't against the rules.]

...God, why are cats like this.

This is the first time I've ever seen a plant act like a cat.

Trust me, it's not really normal. I've never seen anything like it either.

...You know, given how weird this place is, I wouldn't put it past the guy to have a pet like this. Granted, I can't really see him having a pet at all, but if he did...

[She turns back to the cat plant for a long moment before she looks back to Kimbley.]

Do you think it needs to eat anything?

[alchemicals]

No idea. I'm not too sure if you're supposed to feed it like a cat or like a plant, even.

[iaspis]

In the tropical areas on Earth, there is a plant that eats bugs.

[She makes a little venus fly trap motion with her hand, which probably looks ridiculous because her hand is enormous.]

Maybe it's something like that.
