WEEK 3.

WEEK 3

As the second week draws to a close, two more have joined the deceased. Christo and Alani are dead, leaving twenty-six of you remaining.

It may not seem like very many have died, but their absence will certainly be felt.

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Just like last week, a door in the stairwell has opened, leading you down further into the building; there are more rooms open to you down there - possibly even one that you'll find personally interesting.

Go ahead and explore all you like; after all, you did well at completing your lessons this past week.

[Is that....

What is that?]

What... what the hell is that thing?
alchemicals: (005.)

[personal profile] alchemicals 2017-02-07 06:21 pm (UTC)(link)
You know, if I had any idea I'd tell you. But unfortunately, no clue.

[...Hi, Jasper.]
iaspis: (✧ i had nothing to say)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-07 09:31 pm (UTC)(link)
[She tips her head at it, staring for along moment.]

It... doesn't really look like it's one of the Pokemon, does it?
alchemicals: (012.)

[personal profile] alchemicals 2017-02-08 09:34 pm (UTC)(link)
That's what's been bugging me a bit - it really doesn't.
iaspis: (◇ the lessons that you taught me)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-08 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)
[She watches the plant thing do.... whatever it is a cat plant does for a long moment.]

Was it in one of those ball things the Pokemon stay in?
alchemicals: (008.)

[personal profile] alchemicals 2017-02-08 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
...It wasn't really in anything. Outside of the pot.

[He is not too familiar with Pokéballs, um.]
iaspis: (◇ guilty by association)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-09 12:14 am (UTC)(link)
[...she isn't either, really.]

....I wonder how it survived in the machine.
alchemicals: (010.)

[personal profile] alchemicals 2017-02-09 02:56 am (UTC)(link)
...That's a good question, isn't it. Can it even photosynthesize in here, or...
iaspis: (◇ the lessons that you taught me)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-09 04:08 am (UTC)(link)
...Good question.

[She stares at it for a while, watching it... what is it even doing? Trying to stalk a still, empty glass from its pot?]

I haven't seen any windows in this entire building.
alchemicals: (008.)

[personal profile] alchemicals 2017-02-09 05:47 am (UTC)(link)
I mean, it's also very much acting not like a plant, so maybe it doesn't...need...to...?

[It's going to knock that glass over you know it will cats are all the same]
iaspis: (◇ guilty by association)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-09 10:11 pm (UTC)(link)
No, it acts more like an animal.

[Oh yes, it is. And right then, as if on cue, it swats at the glass, and doown it goes.

...hopefully a cat plant knocking things over for the hell of it isn't against the rules.]
alchemicals: (002.)

[personal profile] alchemicals 2017-02-10 12:00 am (UTC)(link)
[...well, uh

ain't no rule against property damage...]

...God, why are cats like this.
iaspis: (◇ guilty by association)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-10 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
....Cats?

[It. Does look like a cat, doesn't it?]

This is the first time I've ever seen a plant act like a cat.
alchemicals: (012.)

[personal profile] alchemicals 2017-02-10 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
[...jasper what the fuck that's actually kind of cute - ]

Trust me, it's not really normal. I've never seen anything like it either.
iaspis: (◇ no more lies)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-10 04:15 am (UTC)(link)
[look

you never know. she has seen some weird shit]

I guess it wouldn't be.

That must mean it either belongs to the Wordsmith, or someone here.
alchemicals: (008.)

[personal profile] alchemicals 2017-02-10 04:18 am (UTC)(link)
...You know, given how weird this place is, I wouldn't put it past the guy to have a pet like this. Granted, I can't really see him having a pet at all, but if he did...
iaspis: (◇ the lessons that you taught me)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-10 04:32 am (UTC)(link)
[She turns back to the cat plant for a long moment before she looks back to Kimbley.]

Do you think it needs to eat anything?
alchemicals: (024.)

[personal profile] alchemicals 2017-02-10 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
No idea. I'm not too sure if you're supposed to feed it like a cat or like a plant, even.
iaspis: (◇ no more lies)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-10 10:59 pm (UTC)(link)
In the tropical areas on Earth, there is a plant that eats bugs.

[She makes a little venus fly trap motion with her hand, which probably looks ridiculous because her hand is enormous.]

Maybe it's something like that.
