WEEK 3.

WEEK 3

As the second week draws to a close, two more have joined the deceased. Christo and Alani are dead, leaving twenty-six of you remaining.

It may not seem like very many have died, but their absence will certainly be felt.

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Just like last week, a door in the stairwell has opened, leading you down further into the building; there are more rooms open to you down there - possibly even one that you'll find personally interesting.

Go ahead and explore all you like; after all, you did well at completing your lessons this past week.

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]
sportadork: (what could I say)

You don't really feel that way, do you? [THIS EXPLAINS SO MUCH about everything bruce is]

[personal profile] byday 2017-02-08 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
It's more or less accurate.
sportadork: (and we all know)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-02-08 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
[OH NO THAT'S SO SAD...]

Bruce, you are not in any way responsible for their deaths. [said with quite a degree of confidence.] The person that killed them is.

[and then, a bit quieter]

How old were you when this happened? [because he's guesstimating pretty young]

[personal profile] byday 2017-02-08 03:08 am (UTC)(link)
Eight years old.
sportadork: (and I'll be your dog)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-02-08 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
[wow. that's. young.]

There is no way a child so young is responsible for anything.

[pause] I would like to say... You are very strong, for living through such a terrible thing and still becoming the sort of man you are today.

[personal profile] byday 2017-02-08 05:51 am (UTC)(link)
Thank you, Sportacus.

[He nods, still up against the wall.]

Even so, we should focus our attention on other things right now.
sportadork: (when this road gets too rough)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-02-09 08:09 pm (UTC)(link)
How someone feels is worth paying attention to. [y'know. in case you were unaware.]

[personal profile] byday 2017-02-10 04:42 am (UTC)(link)
This situation is a lot more dire than my feelings.
sportadork: (for all my life)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-02-10 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
People can worry about more than one thing at a time.

[personal profile] byday 2017-02-10 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
I think it's pretty obvious that I try not to preoccupy myself. Right now, I'm more interested in how the Wordsmith is acquiring this information in the first place.
sportadork: (I'm young and wild)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-02-10 05:17 am (UTC)(link)
I will be preoccupied for you, then.

[thinks...]

Maybe he asked us.

[personal profile] byday 2017-02-10 05:23 am (UTC)(link)
[wow dude]

I'd never give anything to him. Believe me.
sportadork: (and I can't sleep)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-02-10 05:56 am (UTC)(link)
I didn't say it was given. [more like y'know. taken.]
byday: (pic#10979960)

[personal profile] byday 2017-02-10 09:37 am (UTC)(link)
Then how do you suppose he got it?
sportadork: (our hard-working folks)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-02-11 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
There's lots of ways you can get people to tell you things. They're just usually not very nice.

But, as I have said, the Wordsmith does not seem to be a very nice person.
byday: (pic#10978857)

[personal profile] byday 2017-02-11 01:20 pm (UTC)(link)
...Are you implying that he might have tortured us?
sportadork: (and in the sunlight)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-02-11 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
That's one of the not very nice ways, yes. If he has magic, there are potions and spells that can get people to tell the truth without hurting them... But, he might not have any.
byday: (pic#10978860)

[personal profile] byday 2017-02-12 04:34 am (UTC)(link)
...I'm inclined to believe that he might have some sort of magic behind him, but torture seems more his speed.
sportadork: (forever I can hope)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-02-12 04:46 am (UTC)(link)
I think so, too... Of course, he could do both.

... It would also explain why our memories aren't working right.
byday: (pic#10978857)

[personal profile] byday 2017-02-12 04:51 am (UTC)(link)
The question is why he'd have to resort to torture, then.
Edited 2017-02-12 04:52 (UTC)
sportadork: (and I always fight back)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-02-12 04:56 am (UTC)(link)
That, I have no ideas about. [and he's rather glad he doesn't.]
byday: (pic#10979950)

[personal profile] byday 2017-02-12 05:07 am (UTC)(link)
Something we'll just have to think about, then.
