WEEK 3.
As the second week draws to a close, two more have joined the deceased. Christo and Alani are dead, leaving twenty-six of you remaining. It may not seem like very many have died, but their absence will certainly be felt. Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Just like last week, a door in the stairwell has opened, leading you down further into the building; there are more rooms open to you down there - possibly even one that you'll find personally interesting. Go ahead and explore all you like; after all, you did well at completing your lessons this past week. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 25 |

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

That said, he'll knock before entering, despite the fact that the door's ajar; he won't really say too much to announce his presence, just letting the kid know someone's there before he comes in, last thing he wants is to startle somebody and get something sharp to the face.]
Hey, kid.
no subject
Hey. Sit wherever you'd like.
[Weavile waves at Kimbley and comes up to see if he can get pet. This is such a win win situation.]
no subject
Trying to defuse the motive a little bit?
no subject
[Without Weavile to hug, he puts a pillow between his arms to keep himself from fidgeting.]
I doubt that someone won't be dead by the end of the week, but either way, if I can help put anyone's mind at ease, I'd like to.

[He doesn't seem like he's judging too much, at least.]
Like I said, what I got in that envelope doesn't sound right to me in the first place, so it's not really worth killing over.
I can't say that everyone else will agree with that if all of them get out, though. Mine's...pretty bad.
no subject
I'm not sure how mine holds up to yours, but I'll go first, if you want.
[Kimbley doesn't seem like the kind of guy to care too much about something like this anyway.]
no subject
[He'll take it and open it, then; what's he looking at here, exactly.]
no subject
likes: his dad
dislikes: his dad]
no subject
Not exactly what I would have expected, but it's more interesting than I would have thought.
[He'll pass it back, anyway, take it.]
no subject
...What were you expecting?
[He's going to regret asking this.]
no subject
I don't know, but I'm pretty sure no one actually expects organized crime.
no subject
If it helps any, I've been trying to stomp out my dad's organization for years. Organized crime isn't exactly my style.
[Much less ending the damn world.]
Not that I think that the big rich dude would let me get that part out.

He passes the envelope over, though.]
Fair's fair, I guess.
["Zolf J Kimbley was an active participant in a conspiracy to blackmail the leader of his country, and ensured the completion of a plot to slaughter an entire city's population and sacrifice 7000 additional human lives in order to create an artifact of power."]
no subject
God damn, he probably should have expected something like that, but he sure as hell didn't. Of course, if that's not Kimbley's style at all...]
So you're probably more like the grunt that didn't know about their boss' master plan to wreck the world.
[Kimbley might just have the worst damn secret of all of them.]
no subject
[...I'll have you reinstated to the military, or my name isn't - ]
...I think I know who I was following at the time, assuming the secret is true at all, but I can't say for sure that that's what he was doing. I don't remember him very well, I just know he was really excited about getting me and one of my friends reinstated to the military.
no subject
[But either way-]
Are you gonna be okay with a secret like that getting out? ...Don't get me wrong. I don't think you're gonna kill someone.
[He wouldn't be in here if that was the case.]
no subject
no subject
[Damn, Kimbley. He's kind of impressed.]
no subject
no subject
That's right. You said you don't mind if you die, didn't you?
no subject
no subject
[Everyone does, right? Or just about everyone. ...It would be so much easier to just file away Kimbley as "he's a bad guy, who cares," but here he is, asking anyway.]
no subject
That...well, he doesn't really seem troubled by it, per se, but he does pause before he replies.]
...No, I don't. I don't think anyone here cares about me that much, and back home...well, I've got my sister, but I'm pretty sure she's already moved on with her life by now. At least, I hope she has.
