WEEK 2.
Two people are gone from the group. Zagi and Kamui are dead, twenty-five of you are still alive, and the first week in the Vault comes to a close. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning, those klaxons are as annoying as ever but at the very least there aren't any bodies to be found. It can be assumed, perhaps, that you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; one of the previously closed-off section near the vending machine has opened up, revealing a spiral staircase leading up to the next floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

Well, mostly.
Again just as last week the notice for the meeting next to the bulletin board has been replaced with another note that notes everything that was discussed in Monday's meeting - the strangely realistic dreams they all had about their own worlds/lives, the personal mementos given by the vending machine, initial discussions about the idea for the night patrol and lastly more information (?) about the Kingmaker (thanks, Sigrun).
Although, speaking of personal mementos...
While most of the day Bruce can be found either at the library (still trying to go through every book in there, apparently) or in the first aid room (checking the stocks once more because hey, can never be too careful), in the evening he's down in the dining hall once again, hunched over a chair as he browses through the contents of the phone that Aqua gave to him on Tuesday.
He looks incredibly focused on that, but there's enough of a decent chance that he'll answer if you approach him.]
bulletin board
This is very, very thorough.

[He gives Aqua a small smile here.]
This prevents less chances of miscommunication happening, and ensures that everybody can be on the same page.

Later, you can find her in the sewing room, working carefully on those communal-use aprons she and Megumi were going to make for everyone. Or, rather, working extremely slowly on one while there are six more to be made, and occasionally tearing out her stitches and trying again.
For something she's good at, though, she'll be making supper in the kitchen. Crab soup for everyone! ...Unless you're allergic. Or shrimpdad. He probably has a qualm or two about it.]

Ain't that a funny sight. Sigrun watches her for a little bit, chewing on the second piece of chocolate-chip jerky Mettaton had given her, before coming over and holding out her hand. Sure, they don't have the best history together, but that doesn't mean Sigrun's gonna let her pull something trying to get it open.]
Here, let me try. We've got plenty of ways back home to open bottles.

A little while later she can be found in the library, a surprising choice for the detective since she's usually found anywhere but. However, today the quiet and and solitude is a welcomed alternative. She's seated and turning over a large wooden music box on her lap. The expression on her face is too sad for this to be anything but something she's familiar with. Of all weeks... Of all incentives to receive this from the vending machine it had to be this one.]
I can't even save one of you...
[She's mumbling to herself but it's a quiet library, it's pretty easy to overhear her.]

It took him a moment to find the person who had said that]
Lynne-san? Did something happen?
[Why are you mumbling at a music box? Mouri suspects it may be something she owns, like Stan recovered Old Ghoulie and Cherryblod got a photo of his honeymoon, but Lynne seems to have been pretty hard by whatever object this was]

Bruce takes comfort in the silence, thriving in it as it helps him to focus on his continued task of going though the books in the library. The second floor opening and Tuesday's incident had made him stop for a bit, but now he was doing his best to throw himself back into it.
Still, Lynne's presence in the library doesn't get pass him - especially since its not a place she comes to often - and her downcast look tells him everything he needs to know. Clearly, something was bothering her...]

I don't mean to take the Kingmaker up on his offer by any means, but I think we should consider what we can do if we actually manage to beat him at this sick game of his.

In the afternoon, there's a new inhabitant in the Vault! A life-sized stuffed red yeti has appeared in an empty corner of the incinerator room. It looks more realistic than the suits themselves; it's been spruced up, left shaggier and fat, with a frightening-looking scowl on its face.
Stan is currently using it like a punching bag. His form is good, like he's got boxing experience. His blows are sharp, like he's been aching to hit something for a while.]

[Bruce had noticed this happening while he was passing by, so now when he comes in he's brought some coffee along with him plus something to eat. Got to keep the energy up, after all.]

...And wow, does she have so much regret for giving the machine a try when it spits out that emergency manual. She forgets about everything else from the machine for a moment as she just stands here holding that book. Why is it here...
Later, here's a note being shoved under everyone's door, with the following written down:
I'd like to offer a possible class / study session that we could all do here together. I primarily teach Japanese language and culture, but I've been going over some of the books here in the library and I think there are a few subjects I can teach feasibly enough as well. I'm also looking for suggestions: if there is something that you think should be taught, or you would like to offer teaching everyone a particular subject yourself, please let me know.
If this sounds like something that would be of interest to you, please write a response to this note and slide it under my door, or give it to me in person. I can then organize a time and meeting place for us all to meet at.
If not... well, I also have some items from the vending machine? If you'd like any of these items, please let me know.
[accompanied is a list of said items]
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
--Sakura Megumi
And like the note says, you can either knock or just slide your response under the door of room 19, or you can find her in the library or kitchen. Come talk with us about our study session idea, or maybe you just want one of those items from the vending machine she's got?]
