WEEK 2.
Two people are gone from the group. Zagi and Kamui are dead, twenty-five of you are still alive, and the first week in the Vault comes to a close. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning, those klaxons are as annoying as ever but at the very least there aren't any bodies to be found. It can be assumed, perhaps, that you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; one of the previously closed-off section near the vending machine has opened up, revealing a spiral staircase leading up to the next floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]
Sewing Room
Friends of yours?
[He means the people the dolls were based on.]

I've never made dolls like this before, so I'm afraid they're not that good.
[ She doesn't sound too bothered about that, though. ]

[ Now that she thinks about it... ]
Have you considered making some of your own? I can't speak for anyone else, but it's helped me.

[Might as well gain something from this whole experience, even if it's just learning how to sew dolls.]

Please take a seat, then.

Where should we start?

She pushes a stack of patterns over, each marked with what they are--head, arm, leg, along with how many he should cut out. ]
The numbers denote how many you'll cut out; place those on top of the fabric and carefully cut along the edge of the pattern.

Cut a length of thread in the same color as your fabric, or close to it--[ Here, she holds up her thread so he can see how long it should be ]--and thread it through the small hole at the non-pointy end of the needle.

...Harder than it looks.

More failure.]

There!
[Look at him sparkle, he finally got it.]

Now, tie a small knot at the end of the thread. It doesn't have to be big; I usually tie it twice. This will make sure your thread doesn't get pulled from the fabric while you're sewing.

Now, watch, and follow what I do, [ she says, picking up the fabric. places the two circles for the head against each other, then carefully pokes her needle through. She pulls it snug--then pokes the needle back through the fabric, creating a sturdy, fairly small stitch. ]
