WEEK 2.
Two people are gone from the group. Zagi and Kamui are dead, twenty-five of you are still alive, and the first week in the Vault comes to a close. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning, those klaxons are as annoying as ever but at the very least there aren't any bodies to be found. It can be assumed, perhaps, that you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; one of the previously closed-off section near the vending machine has opened up, revealing a spiral staircase leading up to the next floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]
art supply room
[It's been a while since he's spoken to the guy, and that's... a thing, anyway. Gabriel isn't sure what to do with it, but he's not particularly bothered by talking to a robot, in any case.]
What're you writing down?
[He's not snooping over Mettaton's shoulder, thankfully. Just looking around the art room as a whole.]
no subject
That said, he'll look up once he's done getting his thought down, and most of the focus that had been emblazoned across his features is gone; he seems pleased enough, as he always does.]
I used to write a lot back home! Mostly diary entries and things like that. I don't have any good diaries here, though, so I'm working on letters instead.
[...Logic!]

[Gabriel has been carrying around a sketchbook to jot down notes, but somehow it didn't occur to him to use it to write letters.]
Sounds like a good idea to me.
I'm sure there's a way to get them home.
no subject
Well...it's good to get our thoughts out either way, right?
[That's probably the most tactful NOPE he could have managed.]
no subject
[....rude, he's trying to keep the mood optimistic.]
Who are you writin' to?
no subject
A few people, like my cousins and my creator. And one of my employees - I want to make sure he knows that just because I'm not there and the world probably ended, he's still out of vacation days! So skiving off isn't an option.
no subject
What kinda person is your creator? You mentioned her before, at the meetin'.
no subject
But she tries really hard. And she did create me, so really, how bad can she be?
[...apparently it's also a good day to be kind of hard on Alphys? Wow, buddy.]
no subject
Wonder why she's got no self-esteem? Clearly she's good at what she does.
[Yeah that's shameless brown-nosing but what can you do.]
What about your cousins? Family has always meant a lot to me; I was raised by my Gran, and she's a sweet ol' lady.
no subject
It's not like we don't get along. We just want different things for ourselves.
So now I mostly just stay near Alphys, when I'm not furthering my career.
no subject
[Gabriel might be stupid, but he's picked up on that emphasis.]
Were you and them close, the one you're talking about.
no subject
[Ahahahaha. Ha. Um.
Awkward.]
no subject
Had a fallin' out, I take it?
no subject
[...Mettaton, for fuck's sake.]
It's really just like I said. I wanted one thing, they wanted...well. They didn't really want anything. And I guess that's the problem.
no subject
....should I ask what kind of letter you're planning on writing to them?
no subject
no subject
[awkward]
I'm not sure what I'd send, myself.
no subject
...I'm sorry, darling, it's been a long weekend, you probably didn't want any of this - I think it's just everything catching up.
[And that...actually seems to calm him down a little, and it makes the whole thing decidedly less weird on his part, just give him a second to brighten up a little- ]
I'd like to hear about your family sometime, you know! It sounds like an interesting one, from what I've heard.
[...and there he goes, back up to...well, not eleven, but at least a solid eight and a half.]
no subject
[Gabriel hasn't been particularly close to either of them, but that had been... a thing to put it lightly.]
My family life has been.... interestin', but I dunno-- it's kinda depressin'.
I could tell you about my gran, though.

And pralines-- I miss her pralines. I wonder if I could try to bake 'em here.
