WEEK 2.

WEEK 2 Two people are gone from the group. Zagi and Kamui are dead, twenty-five of you are still alive, and the first week in the Vault comes to a close. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning, those klaxons are as annoying as ever but at the very least there aren't any bodies to be found. It can be assumed, perhaps, that you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; one of the previously closed-off section near the vending machine has opened up, revealing a spiral staircase leading up to the next floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. SURVIVORS REMAINING: 25

I wouldn't, no. Thinking about your family? [ Because that's been on his mind since the the kingmaker gave them the incentive. His sister... ]

My wife would be a stupid idea, considering that the Kingmaker won't tell me if there's a body of water outside here or not.

...But my daughter...

[He'd be blatantly lying if he said she wasn't on his mind right now.]

...Are you considering it? [ Murdering someone, he means. ]

[cherryblooded]

I did, for a moment. [At least he's being honest.] But she'd never be able to live with the guilt. I can't make her live that kind of life.

[ignorantly]

I considered it, too. For my sister's sake. [ And he kind of hates himself a little for it. ]

Do you want some tea? Dunno if it'll help, but...

[cherryblooded]

[He feels that very strongly right now.]

Tea would be nice. For both of us, I think.

[ignorantly]

I'll be back in a moment. [ Having said that, he disappears into the kitchen and returns a little later carrying two cups of steaming hot tea. ]

Thank you. That's very kind of you.

[He even manages a smile as he accepts one of the cups.]

No prob. I hopes it tastes okay. [ He's more of a coffee person because in Tokyo Ghoul we love coffee. ]

[cherryblooded]

[For some weird, unknown reason.

He blows on it, then takes a sip.]

It's just fine.

[ignorantly]

Good. [ He didn't mess it up! ]

...The motive kinda fucked up everyone, I think. I hope nobody does anything rash.

Hope so. ...Most of us have some reason they might act on it.

[ignorantly]

I hate soundin' like a total pessimist here, but I feel like it's only a matter of time before something happens.

[cherryblooded]

...It's not unlikely... But we'll do what we can as a group if that happens. In the meantime, all we can really do is try to keep safe.

[ignorantly]

...Be careful, okay?

[cherryblooded]

I will, if you'll promise me the same.

[ignorantly]

I promise. I'm not going to let myself get killed.

Good. We would hate to lose you.
