Week 5.
Three more have joined the deceased this past week. Taichi Yagami was punished for breaking a rule, Megumi Sakura was killed, and Norman Bates... well, the less said about Norman, the better. A third of you are dead now; your losses are becoming more and more evident with each passing week. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fifth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you'll probably need the distraction after the last trial. SURVIVORS REMAINING: 17 |

The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

...wait, it doesn't just do that naturally?

While many things about my world are mysterious, there truly is no mystery to my hair. It's all gel, Tarrlok.

[His entire world isn't magical, jeez Tarrlok.]

...
...
Why, though...?

no subject
Isn't it a lot of work to do that practically every morning...?
[DO YOU GET REALLY GREAT RECEPTION???]
no subject
Not necessarily. About a half an hour, give or take. I only have to slick it through most of my hair. The bang accounts for most of the time of course.
no subject
...
Is it worth it, though.
no subject
[He can't help but feel like he's being vaguely hairstyle-shamed...]

no subject
[Like. More than twice. Seriously.]
It is simply something I've kept up since childhood. Granted, my bang was much smaller then.

[...]
...you even wore it like that when you were a kid? That's adorable.
no subject
A-Adorable? It is just a style choice, I do not understand...
[He totally didn't blush a little bit just now you didn't see that shut up-]
no subject
this must continue]
...well, I was talking past tense, but now I think you're just making it present tense, too.

Colress wants nothing more than to just bury his face in his labcoat, because he really doesn't know what to say to this.]
That wasn't my intention at all, but...thank you...?
[???
WHAT DOES HE SAY HERE.]
no subject
[gooooood. who even knew.]
Anyway... you wouldn't happen to need anything this morning, would you?
no subject
LOOKING THE OTHER WAY.]
I am in desperate need of hair gel, obviously, though I doubt I'll be able to scrounge up any.
...Why do you ask?
no subject
...
I'm sure you could use a lot of things in here as impromptu hair gel, but it would be kind of disgusting and not really worth it.
no subject
[Does a piece of toast count as breakfast? He...skips it so often...]
As for the hair gel, indeed, I...briefly considered trying an alternative but as you say, I am not so sure if it would be worth it. I truly do like my hairstyle, but I can live with a hairclip for the time being.
no subject
[...he's not going to elaborate.]
Sometimes it just seems like a little too much effort, doesn't it?
no subject
I would like that a lot, actually. If it is not too much trouble, may I request whatever your personal favorite morning meal happens to be?
[He won't ask, since...he totally gets it. In fact... He'll just give a half-hearted laugh.]
It certainly does. I suppose a part of me must have wanted to just give it up this morning. I can only imagine how you manage to style your hair, seeing as it's so long.
no subject
[...since he actually started late because he had a mental breakdown over the last breakfast attempt, uh]
Ah, well, it was never really that difficult with the ponytails, really... though, having something traditional that you wore every day made it a lot easier, since I could just put in all the bands automatically and then not have to worry about it.
I... got a little tired of having it like that, though, so everything's suddenly more difficult.
no subject
I am not purposefully attempting to be, I promise! Either way, I look forward to it.
[As for the other bit, he rubs his chin thoughtfully. He too is used to the usual outfit and hair, but he never really thought about changing it up that much until he was forced to...]
Still, that's quite a bit to put in when you do it by reaching around to your back. Though you are very used to it, most likely.
...And if it helps at all, I think the options you have been experimenting with have been nice.
[Did he actually braid his hair at some point like Cherryblod suggested. That would've been A+.]

[HOPE YOU LIKE VEGGIE OMELETS COLRESS, IT'S A VEGGIE OMELET]
It'd probably be worse if I had to do it with shorter hair, but I can bring most of it to where I can actually see it at the length I usually keep it. ...but really, since I've been doing it since I came of age I could probably do it in the dark.
And I'm glad you like them, even if I didn't feel like putting in the effort today.
[LAST WEEK, YES... today it's just "I was too emotionally compromised to do anything so I basically just woke up and left it go", though.
