Paper Faces on Parade

[ Okay, so, assuming everyone got a crossword and an invite on Tuesday, one would assume that pretty much everyone knows that Misa's planning something. A sign on the door of the music room will indicate as much, a nice big "KEEP OUT PLEASE ♥" to make sure everything's set up just right before the festivities start. The tables are set up just right for snacks and all, the stage is set, the room is even decorated with hand-made streamers and lots of bright ribbons from the art room! When Misa goes hard, she goes hard, apparently. The floor isn't exactly a dance floor, but it should be nice enough that people can dance if they want to, and though she had a really hard time pushing everything around to make the perfect amount of space, it looks like it's about as good as it's going to get.

The guests'll be happy to know there aren't any penalty snacks this time around; nothing set out on the table looks gross or horribly out of place like at Truth or Dare. Everything looks pretty cute, actually; between the desserts and the actual cocktails set out, she and Aqua kind of outdid themselves in terms of meal planning. As for the host herself, she'll obviously be running around too, making sure everything's going okay; one would think that between prepping the food and the party itself, she wouldn't have much time to get herself all dolled up, but a model always has to look her best! And Misa certainly isn't giving anything less than 110 percent, between her short black dress and her ma-- jesus Misa save some glitter for everyone else

In any case, the party is definitely intended to be a late-night affair! And all are welcome, so feel free to come in and dance the night away! Misa even has a bunch of masks in different colors made for people who didn't have time to make one themselves, so don't be shy to grab one and have fun! ]

[Since Mouri is camping around the food table he is still there when Sigrun gets near. Huh, this isn't what he expected]

[nom] I thought you'd be out there dancing until you were too tired to move. Kind of weird to not to see you doing that.

This kind of thing isn't really for me. [With a wave of her cocktail-held hand.] I just came by to see if my bet pays off and for pigtails over there.

[Should Mouri be concerned? Because Sigrun's shenanigans are particularly notorious, you know]

I made a bet with Yosuke that if I won against him in a fair fight, he'd have to put on one of those dresses the shrimp's got. And before that I won a game of chess against Black with the bet that if I got Yosuke to wear a dress he'd have to wear one too.

[It's... harmless, at least.]

Yosuke lost, Black lost. I win.

[Mouri gives a long suffering sigh.

Why doesn't that surprise me? After everything you have done this month I did expect something outrageous.

You still manage to go way over those expectations.

[She's a mess? Have you seen her boyfriend today?]

Thanks, that's my goal. I'm just hoping that they'll turn up in them. And if they don't, I'll make sure they wear them tomorrow.

I can't imagine Hanamura-kun or Black-kun wearing dresses willingly. This can be really humiliating for them.

They'll be fine! I'm sure Black'll look great in it, and I already know for a fact that Yosuke's got the legs for it. They'll be fine. Have a little more faith in them!

Should I be concerned about how or why you have been staring at Hanamura-kun's legs?

[... Sigrun'll just take out the picture from last week. The one that has Yosuke in a skirt, from his big secret.]

He left it out so I decided to keep it so no one else would use it against him. Doesn't he look good? Made for skirts.

[Mouri stares at the picture. Really? There must be a whole story behind this, but Mouri feels it isn't his place to make Yosuke reveal anything. He can't avoid wondering about that, though]

...no comment. Does he know this picture exists?

He does. And he still agreed to it. And then lost.

[So it's his responsibility to do it.]

Remind me to never agree to a bet of any type with you. [It's one item more to the potentially long list of things to never do with Sigrun.

Black arrives at some point]

Wow. I really didn't expect Black-kun to follow your bet. I'm actually surprised about this!

He's a man of his word! And he's really cute, I can't wait to go tease him!

I want the other kid here before I take a picture though -- I got a camera, a working camera, out of the machine and it's great.

I'm not looking to be part of a trial, dilly-dally, because I'm sure one of them would die if I did that.

[Sigrun has some mercy on the people whose company she enjoys. Especially those who keep to their word.]

[Mouri is actually pretty relieved and somewhat surprised]

I heard you are taking Mettaton-kun home with you, I think he told me that. Do you think really think he'll be fine? He says he is prepared for fighting and can do it without problems, but I'm not entirely convinced yet.

[And monsters being explained to him as being awfully weak didn't help matters]

I'm positive he'll be fine! And even if he isn't, he'll have me there, and there's no way I'd let anything seriously bad happen to him!

[Congrats, Mouri, you hit the sweet spot of conversation. Who does she like talking about just as much as herself? Her boyfriend.]

We're going to be a team. A pair of hunters. So we'll cover for each other -- I mean, seriously, it's going to be the most amazingly awesome thing to fight beside him! He's made of metal! I don't have to worry about him getting Infected! I just need to wash him down or let him sit in the sun, which I don't think he'll mind at all!

And-- not to mention that he'll have all the people he wants to perform for whenever! Dalsnes is filled with people! Well, until some of them die, but we're always getting new ones to take up their space. So he'll be able to do that when he's not out on the field with me. We're even going to go travelling a little so I can show him all the fancier things I think he'll like! But he'll be fine, I've already promised pinky that I'd take care of him, there's no need to worry about that bag of bolts.

Well if he'll be happy in that world then I suppose there's nothing wrong with it. I trust you'll be able to protect him.

He is going to kick all the trolls. Somehow he seems really comfortable using those shoes of his as weapons. It was strange. I really wouldn't want to be around when you two are hunting.

I think it's hot. There's a lot of different kind of fighters where I'm from weapon-wise, but he'd be the first to use his legs the way you say he does! Mostly because anyone else would eat chewed through in a second flat if they were lucky.

He also said he can use little machines and...explosives.

There's this war back at his home and he doesn't want to take part of it. I don't remember if he said why, but I'm a bit surprised he agreed to go with you to fight.

Mettaton-kun is...a better person than I had given him credit for when I met him. I can hardly believe I used to think he could be an accomplice to the Kingmaker.

It's a dumb war, that's all.

And he's the best guy! I mean, we didn't exactly start off on the right foot either, but he really is. And easy to talk too, but that's just part of who he is. With his job and all.

But more than that... I don't know. [Gods, she actually seems embarrassed, more focused on draining her cocktail than anything.] It's just a thing. A good thing. He's an ass sometimes and a smartmouth always, but I can't really think of anyone that's more fun to like, hang around, you know? Plus he's actually a pretty damn good secret keeper.

And cute when he's embarrassed. Really cute.
