[ Okay, so, assuming everyone got a crossword and an invite on Tuesday, one would assume that pretty much everyone knows that Misa's planning something. A sign on the door of the music room will indicate as much, a nice big "KEEP OUT PLEASE ♥" to make sure everything's set up just right before the festivities start. The tables are set up just right for snacks and all, the stage is set, the room is even decorated with hand-made streamers and lots of bright ribbons from the art room! When Misa goes hard, she goes hard, apparently. The floor isn't exactly a dance floor, but it should be nice enough that people can dance if they want to, and though she had a really hard time pushing everything around to make the perfect amount of space, it looks like it's about as good as it's going to get.

The guests'll be happy to know there aren't any penalty snacks this time around; nothing set out on the table looks gross or horribly out of place like at Truth or Dare. Everything looks pretty cute, actually; between the desserts and the actual cocktails set out, she and Aqua kind of outdid themselves in terms of meal planning. As for the host herself, she'll obviously be running around too, making sure everything's going okay; one would think that between prepping the food and the party itself, she wouldn't have much time to get herself all dolled up, but a model always has to look her best! And Misa certainly isn't giving anything less than 110 percent, between her short black dress and her ma-- jesus Misa save some glitter for everyone else

In any case, the party is definitely intended to be a late-night affair! And all are welcome, so feel free to come in and dance the night away! Misa even has a bunch of masks in different colors made for people who didn't have time to make one themselves, so don't be shy to grab one and have fun! ]

[Here's Bruce jerking a little, nearly dropping his plate but managing not to, then taking a moment to just make sure his heart isn't going to pop itself out from his chest.

That at least doesn't take too long, and quickly enough Bruce is doing his deep yoga breaths to get his calm back into place.]

[Stan laughs and pats Bruce on the shoulder.]

Wooooah there, Doc, don't have a heart attack!

[Bruce takes a moment more to calm himself, and then he's looking over to Stan with a small frown.]

Sorry, I just--don't take surprises well.

[Understatement of the year.]

Yeah, no kidding.

[Stan won't quite apologize, but he slips off the mask.]

You oughta see what I'd rig up on a real 'Ween.

I'm not sure if I'll be entirely prepared for that.

[The words are wry, but there's a smile on his face that softens the words. It's all cool Stan, don't worry.]

Probably not! But what's the fun of Halloween without scarin' the pants off some children?

And Gravity Falls likes it so much, they do another one in July. Summerween.

[Bruce, at least, lets out a small laugh at that, sounding amused.]

That certainly sounds like fun.

[Not that Bruce really knows. He's never had a chance to experience Halloween.]

Great for business, too! You don't get a lotta tourists in October, so that's when I set up the haunted house. Then the out-of-towners can have it in the summer!

A lot of people do enjoy the festivities of Halloween, from what I understand.

[It does make a air bit of sense to use that to draw in the crowd.]

[You don't have to go to haunted houses, a lot of people just do normal boring costume parties.]

I never had occasion.

[Says with a shrug of a shoulder, like its no big deal at all.]

That's too bad! You oughta try it sometime - scarin' trick-or-treaters is a blast! [Plus doesn't really involve getting startled yourself.]

I'm not really that big into scaring people.

[Most because he does that... on a regular basis...

Not even little kids? They got these high-pitched screams!

[Stan is sort of an awful person sometimes]

Especially little kids.

[Just look at his face, Stan. It tells you all that you need to know.]

Okay, okay, whatever. More for me. They've been gettin' tougher to crack anyway, with all their video games and junk - takes an expert.

[Bruce manages a smile, but it probably isn't as genuine as it actually can be.]

Sure! Customers eat that stuff right up. I've been practicin' since I was a kid!

One year, me and my brother were conjoined twins. He made this stuff to make it look like our flesh melted together.

That sounds pretty impressive.

[It really does. To be able to get that kind of look right - it does take some skill and effort, and Bruce can appreciate that.]

It was! People talked about that for years!

Did you ever try to do it again?

Nah, you don't repeat costumes like that. Besides, bein' conjoined isn't actually a lotta fun!

I know it isn't, but it is just a costume after all.

[Even he isn't that hard nosed to not let some fun happen.]

We were still stuck together all night. That fake skin stuff was pretty gross after a while!

What did you make that out of, if I might ask? Hopefully it wasn't too hard to get rid of.
