WEEK 7.
Two more Survivors have left you; Aqua was killed in cold blood and Mettaton... well, your thoughts on Mettaton probably vary depending on how close you were to him, but either way he chose to end Aqua's life and paid the price for it. There are so few of you now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible seventh floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week six of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]
Nighttime
Walking over, he leans down to rest a hand on Bruce's shoulder.]
Hey. You doin' okay?
[As he speaks, Stan lets a folded scrap of paper slip from his sleeve and into Bruce's lap.]
no subject
...can't exactly say I'm fine right now.
[He doesn't really notice the paper falling, too caught up with his emotions now as it is. He'll probably see it later, when he's... more composed.]
no subject
Well, as long as he gets it before the meeting tomorrow, that'll do. He can keep an eye on things on his own while he's there, if nothing else. For now, Megumi's request seems a little more relevant.]
Bad Sunday?
[For the record, the paper reads:
Wkh Nlqjpdnhu zdwfkhv wkh phhwlqjv
Gr qrw phqwlrq jkrvwv
Ohw wkh rwkhuv nqrz
Fkdsho wrpruurz qljkw dw rqh]
no subject
To the question, Bruce just... glances down and shakes his head after a pause.]
Dreams.
[It's all he can say.]
no subject
Yeah, me too.
[Seems like they've been getting worse and worse for everyone, doesn't it?]
no subject
The world was safe, at least--but yet again he's lost everything. When he had thought he could have something again. It's far too cruel.
He takes in a few breaths to try his best to compose himself, although his voice is still shaky when he speaks.]
I don't mean to... [Be like this, he wants to say, but it's just--everything just hits so close together. Just thinking of one event reminds him of another and they all just more or less pile up together into this mess that hangs in his mind.]
no subject
[You can't just expect everybody to be cheerful forever. Even disregarding the memories, they are literally in a murder vault.]
no subject
Bruce takes another few moments for a couple more calming breaths, which may or may not help at all. He doesn't quite know. It's hard to say.]
It's pretty dumb to be losing it over some dreams. [He manages eventually, although the shakiness is still there.]
no subject
[And, well, he is not the first one.]
You ain't alone in all this, y'know, we've all got stuff goin' on.
no subject
[Which is why its only all the more foolish. His problems are probably nothing compared to the others here. What right does he have to get so hung up over his issues? It's unfair to any of them. They don't need to know his problems on top of their own.
He tries to calm himself again, which does... sort of work better this time. At least he doesn't feel quite as shaky as before, at any rate.]
no subject
[Stan pauses, then snorts.] Ha, look at this. Next thing you know I'm gonna be tellin' you not to cheat on your taxes.
no subject
If he was 'normal', would none of this have happened? He supposes its too late to ponder that now.]
...I'll try my best. [No guarantees, Stan, but... he will try. As much as he can.]
no subject
[God knows.]
no subject
...thanks. [Just... yeah. He's glad you're around, Stan, really.]
no subject
no subject
[Nobody needed to be concerned about him, really, or just care, or... anything. The fact that people do any of that to him willingly is still something he can't quite grasp from time to time.]
no subject
[He may as well accept thanks where he can get them.]
no subject
I never said this, but if you ever need any kind of help, please don't hesitate to ask me. I'd be glad to be of assistance - even if its just to provide a listening ear.
no subject
[He may not ever call on it - it's not his way. But he will remember.]
no subject
Please do.
[He wants Stan to remember that he isn't alone, too.]
