WEEK 1
As much as this sounds like a bad joke all around, it looks like one thing is being played completely straight: you're not going anywhere. After the Kingmaker has answered your questions (or, well, perhaps it's more accurate to say he didn't answer them, at least as far as most of those little Q&A sessions went), you'll be left up to your own devices – feel free to continue exploring and getting to know your fellow Survivors for the next several days. Should you want to eat something you're free to use the kitchen before 10PM, but after that the doors will be locked and no amount of fussing with the locks or trying to break them down will get them to budge. And no, the robot cannot punch them in for you.

Notably, though, starting bright and early on Monday morning (or maybe just early, since there aren't any windows) you'll be treated to the most unholy damn noise – it's very definitely an electric siren of some sort, probably some kind of klaxon, blaring out over the PA system. It only blasts once, but really, for something that loud, once is enough. This will happen every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM. You'll be able to hear it no matter what room you're in. There isn't any punishment for sleeping through it, but you don't want to waste the day in bed, now do you?

(Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.)

[Just because he's been thrown into (another) shitty situation doesn't mean that his sleeping habits are going to change. He's been travelling to and fro between his room and the library, and of course there's no way he can really not see Mouri and his... ah, stakeout.

That certainly explains why he hadn't seen the other throughout the whole day.]

[What is up with all these people around during night time? Mouri is a tad annoyed with that. How is the Kingmaker supposed to come when there's somebody strolling around?

Bruce makes his way over to Mouri proper, settling down besides him.]

Do you really think you can catch the Kingmaker like this?

Of course I do! Sooner or later he will have to pass through here towards the bedrooms to go leave coins. It may not even be tonight, but that is no problem, trying in some other night is an option too.

It's just matter of time before the Kingmaker appears!

[He truly believes it all, after all, that is the conclusion his deductions led him to. Sure, it wasn't like he spent long thinking about it - it was literally his first thought about how the Kingmaker could come - but he's rather sure about it]

[Ah, the coins... Bruce does have a couple, but he's pretty sure its not the Kingmaker who's leaving them. If somebody did enter his room while he was asleep Bruce would have noticed. He's not a particularly heavy sleeper.]

Somehow I don't think he'll make it that easy for us to see him, considering the lengths he's gone to conceal himself thus far.

...I'll have to agree with that, but an attempt should be made. The sooner we all find out what is going on with the worlds the better.

[Yeah, he's still pretty concerned about his world. He still refuses to believe everything and everyone he knows is gone. That is basically his whole motivation to actually do all this]

[Bruce does agree but still this is all... rather blatant.]

I suppose it never hurts to try our luck. [Or Mouri's luck, rather. Bruce and luck never really mix well.]

[There's silence for a moment until Mouri says something else]

You know what I don't understand? Why we are being given these coins. I know they are for the vending machine but it doesn't seem like there's anything important in there. All I got was junk.

[Like the pipe]

Ah... I haven't really tried it myself, so....

[Should he try it? Its not as if Bruce thinks he needs to, but...]

[Yes. It is for, um, INVESTIGATIVE PURPOSES, yeah. It isn't that Mouri wants to see what Bruce can obtain. No, this isn't for his amusement at all, don't think that!

Okay, yeah, Mouri is curious what Bruce would obtain, yeah. Would it be a hand bra too, like Mouri did? Are they going to have to discuss at midnight who makes such thing as hand bras?]

The machine is over there. If you have coins it may be worth it to give it a try.

I do have one of them-- [Mostly for examination purposes. He left the rest in his room.] But I don't know. Does it make a lot of noise when it dispenses its items.

[Because if so he'd rather wait. Don't really want to wake up anybody... even though the rooms are soundproofed. Not everyone is in their rooms, after all, and he doesn't want the noise to startle them.]

No, it is almost silent. I wouldn't even hear it from here.

[A slight exaggeration, but yeah, the vending machine isn't noisy]

I suppose I could try it.

[Just. Give him a moment here, Mouri. He's going to the vending machine to do just that.]

[Once Bruce is away Mouri turns his head to a side and grins. This had the potential to be fun.

It wasn't in his nature be teasing or mildly impish, but what other way to kill some time was there?]

[And Bruce returns a few minutes later with... well.

An... apron???]

...not exactly what I was expecting.

[...Mouri didn't expect it either.

That is it. Mouri is laughing quite a lot here. The pipe fell onto the floor, he is laughing so hard he is crying.

Way to ruin it, Bruce. How is he supposed to catch the Kingmaker if he is busy laughing too much to be hidden.

[Yeah Bruce sounds totally stumped as well. Like, what even...

You do that, but I doubt anybody is going to wear it. Maybe Misa-chan would, she seems the type of woman who does whatever she wants and doesn't care what other people think.

[Not that Mouri thinks you are leaving it for public access so somebody wears it for your enjoyment, Bruce]

[Bruce doesn't enjoy maid outfits, so no.]

At least it is confirmed nothing useful will ever come from that machine. There's no sense on wasting more coins.

But there doesn't seem to be anything else you can use it on, from what I can tell.
