WEEK 1.
As much as this sounds like a bad joke all around, it looks like one thing is being played completely straight: you're not going anywhere. After the Kingmaker has answered your questions (or, well, perhaps it's more accurate to say he didn't answer them, at least as far as most of those little Q&A sessions went), you'll be left up to your own devices – feel free to continue exploring and getting to know your fellow Survivors for the next several days. Should you want to eat something you're free to use the kitchen before 10PM, but after that the doors will be locked and no amount of fussing with the locks or trying to break them down will get them to budge. And no, the robot cannot punch them in for you. Notably, though, starting bright and early on Monday morning (or maybe just early, since there aren't any windows) you'll be treated to the most unholy damn noise – it's very definitely an electric siren of some sort, probably some kind of klaxon, blaring out over the PA system. It only blasts once, but really, for something that loud, once is enough. This will happen every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM. You'll be able to hear it no matter what room you're in. There isn't any punishment for sleeping through it, but you don't want to waste the day in bed, now do you? (Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.) |
MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week one of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
There are also two new posts for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]
WEDNESDAY DAY - NIGHT
'ASLEEP. STAY OUT, EIDE-SAN. I NEED TO BE WELL RESTED FOR TONIGHT'
Yeah, that special mention was needed. The last he needs right now is somebody to wake him up by dragging him from the ankles, thank you.
At 8:00 PM Mouri finally gets out of his room and goes to the kitchen, always clutching a good amount of grounded coffee to prepare. He spends the next two hours making as much coffee as he can and filling containers with it, piling them aside.
At 10:00 PM he is in his decided spot. He has brought a chair and positioned it in the little hallway that leads to the storage (near the bedrooms) so he has a clear view of the elevator. He found a spot where anybody coming from the elevator would be unable to see him, much to his satisfaction.
His plan: attempt to catch the Kingmaker in action when he gets to this place to leave coins around. Mouri is sure that is how he does it, by coming from the elevator and going to the bedrooms to put coins around.
If you are having a late stroll around the shelter - and you see well enough in the dark because he's trying to stay in the shadows - you may see him, with a weird bird-shaped water pipe in his mouth, a dozen containers of coffee with him, a candle wrapped so it gives as little light as possible and a few books. You are welcome to talk to him as long as you are moderately silent and are ready to be quiet once the Kingmaker arrives]
nighttime
...Darling, what are you doing?
[I mean, whatever Mouri's doing, he's apparently doing it for the long haul tonight, uh.]
Re: nighttime
This is a stakeout. I'm going to catch the Kingmaker as soon as he arrives here.
[He is talking to you but he hasn't averted his eyes from the elevator doors]
no subject
[Is...is that what he's taking away from this.]
no subject
Maybe it is because damn it, Mettaton was the one to say it, but Mouri frowned. That sounded like an insult to his reasoning]
It is the only way in. Obviously he is going to have to use the elevator.

8 PM if that works?
Good morning, detective. Sleep well?
Re: 8 PM if that works?
[Not a lie. He spent a good amount of the day trying to sleep more, without much success, but damn did he try. He didn't go outside because it is a really comfy bed, and sleeping or not, it is just so pleasant to be on it...]
no subject
[He sympathizes, really.]

I really want to get some results tonight, I don't think I want to spend the night awake more than twice.

nighttime
Bless his heart.]
I'm really not sure what the chance is success here is, but I guess it's worth it for you to give it a shot in case he actually does use the elevator.
Re: nighttime
[Mouri sounds very confident about this. Seems like he is deadset on believing the elevator is truly the solution to the problem and that sooner or later they will catch the Kingmaker.
This is truly a man who sticks onto his theories until it's undeniably clear he is wrong]

[Mouri's dumbfounded expression shows the idea never crossed his mind]

night time.......
That certainly explains why he hadn't seen the other throughout the whole day.]
Ah--good evening, I suppose.
Re: night time.......
[What is up with all these people around during night time? Mouri is a tad annoyed with that. How is the Kingmaker supposed to come when there's somebody strolling around?
no subject
[Being stuck in here ain't gonna change that.
Bruce makes his way over to Mouri proper, settling down besides him.]
Do you really think you can catch the Kingmaker like this?
no subject
It's just matter of time before the Kingmaker appears!
[He truly believes it all, after all, that is the conclusion his deductions led him to. Sure, it wasn't like he spent long thinking about it - it was literally his first thought about how the Kingmaker could come - but he's rather sure about it]

nighttime
That said, Sigrun's a surprisingly quiet walker when she walks through the vault, and the softest flicker of the candle catches her eye and puts her on a higher alert. She knows Mettaton's the up and about person and there's probably others as well, but it's just that old habits die hard as she sneaks up behind Mouri
and speaks with her naturally loud voice.]
Can't sleep either?
[It's still tough for her.]
Re: nighttime
He doesn't hear Sigrun coming, though. She is quite good at sneaking. He is standing there, still biting that ridiculous water pipe, she she says that with her naturally loud voice]
Yaaha!
[It was more of an instinctive reaction more than anything else, spurred from the sudden loudness. The words themselves don't even register, all Mouri knows is that he turned around with impressive speed.
Sigrun may not even be able to finish the sentence before she Mouri attempts to grab her torso or her lapels or her sleeves or any piece of loose fabric she may have. His intention is to quickly execute his specialty, the Ippon Seionage move, to move Sigrun over his shoulder and neck and daze her, at the very least. At least he isn't going to outright slam her against the floor.
That is, if he is successful. If he isn't able to grab her then nothing happens. Your move, Sigrun]
no subject
Either way though, she's seemingly in good spirits with her words.]
Not bad, dilly-dally. What was that?
no subject
It took a couple seconds for him to realize who it was, as well as what she was asking]
Eide-san, not you again!
[He doesn't relax, though. He hasn't found out her intentions. 'Likes: killing things', are you going to prove he had a reason to suspect you, dear?
Still, maybe answering is not so bad, at least that should buy him some time]
It is judo. Never heard of it?

Night time
That's a lot of gear for a stakeout. [ Too much in his opinion, makes him too easy to spot.]
Re: Night time
[Yep, a dozen coffee containers, a freaking candle lit on and blowing a pipe to make bird noises at 2 AM is what Mouri is defining as mild.
He is not experienced with stakeouts, if you haven't guessed yet, Aiden!

[Because the last stakeout he did was years ago, when he was still in the force, with a partner and all]
I don't do many stakeouts. This is the first in a long time.
