WEEK 1.
As much as this sounds like a bad joke all around, it looks like one thing is being played completely straight: you're not going anywhere. After the Kingmaker has answered your questions (or, well, perhaps it's more accurate to say he didn't answer them, at least as far as most of those little Q&A sessions went), you'll be left up to your own devices – feel free to continue exploring and getting to know your fellow Survivors for the next several days. Should you want to eat something you're free to use the kitchen before 10PM, but after that the doors will be locked and no amount of fussing with the locks or trying to break them down will get them to budge. And no, the robot cannot punch them in for you. Notably, though, starting bright and early on Monday morning (or maybe just early, since there aren't any windows) you'll be treated to the most unholy damn noise – it's very definitely an electric siren of some sort, probably some kind of klaxon, blaring out over the PA system. It only blasts once, but really, for something that loud, once is enough. This will happen every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM. You'll be able to hear it no matter what room you're in. There isn't any punishment for sleeping through it, but you don't want to waste the day in bed, now do you? (Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.) |
MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week one of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
There are also two new posts for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

[Third day of imprisonment in the Vault. Nothing has gotten better, in fact, it could be said everything is worse than before, mainly because damn, Mouri has demonstrated he is the type of person that jumps to conclusions way too quickly.
It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't because he is supposed to be a detective.
If you enter the kitchen you will find Mouri staring at the kitchen knives as if those utensils had personally offended him. Seems like he is mulling something. Dare to ask what's up?]
Profiles:
[It's the profiles board again. If you are nearby you may find Mouri with one of Misa Amane's crosswords, bless her adorable soul. He has the crossword against the wall and is filling out the squares while looking at the profiles.
Yeah, that is almost cheating, isn't it?]
kitchen
...To stumble into whatever Mouri is doing in here, apparently.]
Oh, hi.
[The greeting is bright enough, anyway, tinged with the sort of enthusiastic cordiality that he offers everyone, because that's just what celebrities do. It's also not quite enough to cover the fact that he's not too sure where to go from there, because this guy sure as hell is staring at the knives. What do you say to that? I have a cousin who is also fascinated with knives? It's entirely true, but still.]
No hard feelings from yesterday, right?
[...You know what, that works. Sure.]
Re: kitchen
Mettaton being at least carefully and frankly a bit artificially back to his normal tone kind of helps.]
Of course not. If there's anyone with reasons to have hard feelings it's you.
[Pause, deep breath, exhale]
I may have gone a bit overboard with my reasoning. It's still too early and this is not something that can or should be solved after so little time. I should have known better.
[It is not an apology, Mouri very, very rarely apologizes for anything, but it is at least an attempt to normalize relationships. After all, they are all trapped in this place and with a challenge to murder people. Fostering grudges seem like the premier way to worsen everything.
Goodness, how could he be so stupid before not to think about the consequences? Mouri really is way too used to the police cases that get solved in a few hours, tops.]
no subject
Oh, don't worry, darling, yesterday wasn't a good look on anyone.
[...Mettaton doesn't apologize either, after all.
That said, he shrugs after a moment of consideration; might as well just- ]
I can tell you a bit about her, if you'd like. Dr. Alphys, I mean - if you're suspecting her, it's probably best to have a bit more information, right?

[Cherryblod admits there's some he doesn't know, but at least he isn't cheating.]
Re: Profiles
[An effort was made. If there's one thing Mouri is full of it is efforts. The problem is that they don't get anywhere good]
no subject
[He's not sure he believes you, buddy.]
Well, don't spoil me on them, I want to see if I can finish myself.

kitchen
Re: kitchen
I can't think of anything to be done about this, though. I can't just take this whole thing and take it away to my room.
no subject
... M-Maybe you could, though. Just the sharpest ones... And if anyone needs them for cooking, they could just ask! That way, we'll always know who has them.

profiles
[Just a (somewhat) wry remark from Bruce as he glances down at the detective. He's got a cup of tea in hand from the kitchens he had just exited from, still hot and steaming at the surface.]
Re: profiles
I already solved every space I could. Now I'm just going for the rest.
[This is curiously pretty symbolic of Mouri's usual style. Get to the half-point and then have to rely on somebody else to finish the job. Very rarely Mouri would be able to get to the end goal]
no subject
I see. [He doesn't know the symbolism behind that (at least, not now), but hey, as long as you tried. Bruce can't exactly fault him much.
But crossword aside...]
How are you feeling today? [Considering--you know, what happened yesterday.]

[ Uh-oh, looks like you might be in trouble... ]
Mister Kogoro, that's just plain unfair! You're supposed to try and ask people if you don't know the answers...if you just look at the profile, you solve it way too easily!
[ Rude!!! And she worked so hard on it! ]
Re: profiles!!
Aaah, wait, no, Amane-chan! This isn't what it looks like!
I had already solved half of it before coming!
[That is no excuse, though]

Was it not fun to do on your own..? Did Misa-Misa do a bad job?

[Stan offers a high-five. He's not really that impressed with the puzzle or the cheating, but he's definitely gonna encourage our local law enforcement in any shadiness they may express. Even something as dumb as this.]
Re: Profiles
It would have gone better if Misa-chan hadn't caught me in the act. That put a damper on my "cheating" attempt.
[Yeah, he still doesn't think this is cheating]
