[And so the day's trial for the attempted murder of Gabriel Knight draw to a close with... charitably better results then usual.
They were alive, at the least, but that didn't mean there wasn't several blows against the trust that had been built up here. One mole that attempted murder, another that quit, and another that was given the offer no doubt put strain on several relationships... most notably Sigrun's.
It was all, in a word... frankly shitty. But now it's all out there, no sense in trying to get it back.
An hour (or two) after the "trial" ends and everyone's gone off on their own business, Speedwagon heads back to the kitchen. It was the usual plan in mind, what they did after every trial. And everyone, regardless of what was said or done, would soon find a note being slipped under their door.]

There's gonna be food in the dining hall, in case anyone's got an appetite for it.
I know some might want to be alone after that mess of an investigation, but if you don't then the offer's as open as it's always been.
I'd say sticking together might still be safer then not.

I'm blaming everyone in this place! No matter what happens there are always a few people who are working against the rest. And then some are going to cover up for them! Why would they do that?! It's stupid! And the rest are going to lose their minds in various ways, and it all ends being a disaster!
[At least he's shouting all this only to Speedwagon. It's better than Mouri standing in the Dining Hall broadcasting this to everyone]
What good can come from going and trying to be amiable with people if at the end it will end in something like what happened today? You saw what happened in the trial! How will we get anywhere or escape after...after all that?!

Well... I'd say it's basic human nature, if we're getting right down to that. I can't say that I fully understand why some of them would go working for a bloke like that, but I can't exactly argue about it now can I? Not like we can punish them anymore then simply keeping an eye on them and taking away Black's phone.
[He can't begin to talk about how betrayed he may feel with these people... but he's a fair bit more sympathetic then that.]
I'll say this: it's not a disaster until we're all lying dead. Until then, we can do something about this.

...yes. You are right. I know that is true, and that the people left here isn't the type to give up. I'd say I'm the least determined person around [Leaving Black aside], so...maybe things won't be as bad as I think they'll be?

Hmm. [He nods] At this point, I'd be half shocked if anyone didn't want to have a swing at him when he ever shows up. He's caused us enough grief and frustration to last a lifetime.
