WEEK 1.
Now that you've had a chance to yell at the Wordsmith, one thing is very clear. He wasn't lying. There's no escape from this place. You can explore all you like, but there aren't any ways to leave. It seems like there isn't much to do but settle in and get to know your fellow Apprentices. You're free to go wherever you'd like for the most part, but come 10PM the doors to the kitchen and the mail room will shut and lock and nothing you can do will get them to open. While you might be tempted to sleep in, you'll find that the clock in the foyer goes off every morning at 7AM and again in the evenings at 10PM without fail. You'll be able to hear it no matter where you are; it seems it's being broadcast over the PA system. You're welcome to go back to sleep after you hear it, but surely you don't want to spend the whole day in bed? (Unless you were out exploring all last night. In which case, go back to bed, damn.) |
MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week one of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

Don't worry, as soon as I'm able I'll make you a vegetable! Your boyfriend can wipe off the drool!
no subject
it's finally clicking that the boyfriend, boytoy comments are like

no subject
[ Smirking, she says this. ]

.....................
oh oh no, oh shit, what the hell is he gonna tell silver
can they use this to their advantage
it'd make them staying together in the same room less suspicious? but he wouldn't be able to date cute girls if he's with his best friend
...... also it's dating his best friend and that best friend is a guy why is his issue with the best friend part more than the guy part, what the fuck self--]
no subject
[FUCKIN #NAILEDIT]

no subject
No thanks! I'm happily married!
no subject
wait now he's pretending to date his best friend he and silver have gotta talk]
Yeah, alright, is he still around or is he your late-husband now?
no subject
Of course he's still around, silly! He promised to be my one and only and I would be his too! We've been together for almost two hundred years, even sleeping in the same coffin more often than not! Isn't it amazing what love can do sometimes?
no subject
That's uh. That's real sweet.
[Yeah. It actually is, but it's just... kind of weird to see her like this. She's definitely acting more like his age than what she actually is when it comes to her husband, that's so cute???]
So... you think he's worried about you right now?
no subject
Swallows. ]
I'm sure he and my boy are worried sick. They're probably tearing apart the country looking for me right now.
[ Somehow, she expected those words - reassurances that she's not alone made to herself - to feel comforting. Instead, she just feels guilty. Like she somehow failed them ]
no subject
[It's just so easy to replace him, after all, what Silver's said to him be damned.]
All she's gotta do is meet with someone, get some info, and then she's done. Ain't a hard job for her, and they'll probably think I just got distract or bored. Ain't any different than their usual view of me.
[... Though he's pretty guilty even while he's saying it, sticking his hands into his pockets and leaning against the counter. It's not fair to say that, it's not fair to think about about Crys, and it's not fair to know that... well, whatever's going on back home's probably gonna need all three of them, if it's as serious as the Lance guy made it out to be.]
no subject
And yet...
He's been such a dick to her so far that she can't help but look thoughtful as she replies, ]
Yeah, I can see how a lot of people might think that about a kid like you.
[ ... She might relent a little, but she had to get that in ]
no subject
The hell do you know, hag?! There's a ton of people who think otherwise! I'm a hero!
no subject
[ In fact, getting a bit closer to him, but also picking up one of the drawings on the table (coincidentally Exbo) she does her haughty old lady laugh ]
no subject
and pauses, like he's about to say something, before starting again. He's got better things to do than to deal with the fallout of letting a few ratty complaints spill.]
no subject
She hates that stupid kid.
And for that reason, she initially intends to let him stew and rot, but some part of her old soul groans and without moving, she shames herself by throwing him a bone, one he could just ignore and she'll let slide. ]
Kid, do you have any family?
[ She asks as he's leaving the kitchen ]
no subject
Yeah, my mom and the rest of the Pokémon back home. Why?
no subject
No one's replaceable to their family.
[ That's why. She says it, but then waves him out. She's nice enough to say that much, but she's not nice enough to allow him to finish his meal or whatever he intended to do in the kitchen ]
no subject
You ain't half bad for a half pint. [...] Could use some work on your delivery though.
[Time to go.]
