The past five days have come and gone, though exactly how easily they've done so is debatable; some have been trying to press onward in their optimism and faith that things will get better, while some seem convinced that things will only go downhill from here. However people have chosen to see it, though, clearly this week hasn't been all bad – after all, attempts at encouraging unity among the group seem to have been at least reasonably successful. ...Seem to have been. Friday dawns like the rest of the week before it – the clock chimes the hour at seven, the doors to the kitchen and the mail room unlock, and the building is quiet. It would seem that maybe the night passed reasonably quietly – were it not for the large red smears on the walls and floor of the southeastern side of the dormitory. It looks like somebody decided to be a damn overachiever and took some initiative of their own. >Explore?

There are also some traces of blood on her face, and of course the bruising on her neck which is actually distinctive-looking and should probably be checked out eventually.]

[They look like handprints. They're dark and ringing her neck, and it looks like most of the pressure was applied over her trachea.]

But there's something notable about the blood on her face as well - namely, it looks like it was dripped down onto her as opposed to anything that came from a cut on Adelina herself.

As for turning her over, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the body herself - you want to check her clothes, maybe?]

Her clothes are, again, stained in red, but it doesn't seem to have the rusty color that one would associate with blood - it's a little too bright for that, and it doesn't seem to be turning the brown shade that happens when blood oxidizes.]

[It smells earthier than chemicals, kind of vaguely sweet and acidic? But again, most definitely not like blood.]

When it comes to the rest of her clothing, other than it being really notably stained, it looks like the edge of her dress is torn a bit - it's not a big tear, more like her clothes snagged on something.

...And there's something else to note about the bruising on her throat that I failed to mention earlier because I'm actually a tool, sorry!]

[Is whatever that is that she got snagged on still on her dress? And yes, she'll take another look at her bruises, and just doublecheck - the pressure on her throat wasn't enough to cause any obvious broken bones?]

That said, though, it doesn't look like any of her bones were broken (her neck didn't snap or anything), though she does look like she was choked out really hard - again, most of the darker portions of the handprints are over her trachea, so.

With regards to the handprints, though - they're noticeably small in size. We're not talking small along the lines of, say, Nick, definitely small by human standards.]
